A Scary 250th Anniversary (Semiquincentennial) For Some.

Yeah, that's what America is doing 2026. The planned events in different states have already begun. Everyone, well almost everyone, is waiting for the official party date of July 4, 2026. I can imagine fireworks galore. Barbeques with everyone's favorite meat choice filling the air with it's delicious smells. Music blasting from every piece of equiptment that can play music. And I'm expecting laughter  and smiles. But, will there be? I have sad feelings when I think about July 4th.

Last year Thanksgiving and Christmas did not feel festive. Trump withheld SNAP payments from needy families for over a month. New Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) disbursements were halted on November 1, 2025. This temporary pause was a direct consequence of a federal government shutdown that began on October 1, 2025, which led the USDA to stop issuing funds to states. 

I felt at the time that it was cruel to have people having anxiety about how to eat daily and the fact they were going to have to CANCEL the holidays for lack of funds. There were many SAD and HUNGRY children during last years's holidays. I heard a grandmother in a store tell her grandbaby Christmas was cancelled this year like his mommy had said. I took it worse than the 5 or 6 year old. My heart hurt. I blogged about it at that time. I wasn't experiencing food insecurity, but my heart could NOT be JOLLY last year  for thinking about HUNGRY children. Fast foward to now. The TOXICITY between MAGA, HATE GROUPS, minorities, women, Protestants (named for their protests against the Catholic church), Catholics, Evangelical, minorities, and desparate people trying to live in high inflation with low paying jobs, and the Iran war. There are going to be some political and religous disagreements waiting to kick off on the 4th. Fuses will be short in large gatherings and accusations of not being a Christian in a Christian country will fly along with questioned patriotism. Can someone scream, FIGHT!!!! People are always jumpy now-a-days keepin a lookout for a mass shooter and ever loud noise is going to make person nervous on a day of a million fireworks. This can turn out hillariously or trageic. No, I'm not a Debby Downer. Just Black.

Minorities and Whites have been stewing in Trump's racially charged atmosphere. Each day a new divisiveness shows up like the soup of the day. Permission has been given by Trump to do your worst to MINORITIES. And these days, everyone has a gun. The ethnicity of the majority of organized hate group members in the United States is White. Organizations that track extremism, such as the Southern Poverty Law Center, classify the vast majority of active hate groups as White nationalist, neo-Nazi, or Ku Klux Klan.

Celebrations mixed with alcohol, makes the REAL you appear. That hidden self. And the real you can wind up being a MASS shooter, our finally releasing pent up frustrations and anger while in possession of a gun. Drunk people get egged on or egg you on to get out of your character or to hype you up to do FUN WRONG things for group laughter. Hey, the 250th only comes around once. Make it memorable. What I'm sayong is, any 250th planned celebration can turn into a blood bath with the "HATE" culture we are encouraged to live in. I can hear the DENIERS now. She is FEARMONGERING. We are ALL living in fear daily with Trump at the helm.

Mass shooters are racially/ethnically diverse, though a majority are white. White. (54.8%). Black. (21.5%). Hispanic. (9.4%). Asian. (5.4%).

Politically motivated mass shootings are not new. The MANIFESTOS are so vile with hate until they are never read unless it's a Democrat shooter (had to get one in. Sorry), which have been few and far in between. In the United States, there have been over 180 mass shootings, resulting in more than 230 deaths and 760 injuries as of June 2026. We're use to it right? Just another day a killing can occur. Trump dismisses the activities of hate groups and tried to create a HATE slush fund which rewards bad behavior. Beyond bold. I pay those taxes to give it to people who dispise my skin color.

For the Black Community, July 4th is a REMINDER of how OUR country has treated Black people throughout it's history. Black American History (Which people don't believe should be taught in America and is replacing Black History with well cared for and fed happy slaves who couldn't survive without a MASTER. Emphasizing Blacks were better off as slaves than now). Blacks have been treated horrendously and continually fight to be seen as HUMAN. For Black Americans, even this year, we endure a public out-and-out racist statements and ideals that blatantly devalue Black people. Should Black people celebrate this year? Do they feel good about a country stripping the little power granted them in the 60's to have a vote and say in the government? People have coined this time, JIM CROW 2.0 and it's not a JOKE. And it's coming soon to a town near you.

The Ku Klux Klan sometimes referred to as the Klan, is an American Protestant-led white supremacist and far-right hate group. It's the CHURCH again this time wrapped in religious hypocracy. Membership in the Ku Klux Klan is secret. In conversation, a member may use the acronym AYAK ("Are you a Klansman?") to identify themselves covertly to another potential member, to which the response AKIA ("A Klansman, I am.") completes the greeting. Another possible greeting is 311, as K is the eleventh letter of the alphabet and 3 times 11 is KKK.Members also use 33/6, since 11 times 3 is 33 and they believe that "the Klan is currently in its sixth historical 'era.'" FGRN is a Klan acronym for "For God, Race and Nation, and ITSUB is used for "In The Sacred Unfailing Being," referring to God.

More acronyms include KABARK that means "Konstantly Applied By All Regular Klansmen", and KIGY is used by members that translates to "Klansman I Greet You."LOTIE means "Lady Of The Invisible Empire" which is a female Klan member. KLASP refers to "Klannish Loyalty, A Sacred Principle." The phrase "Non Silba Sed Anthar" means "Not Self, But Others", used in many forms and rituals. A lot of these coded words can be used in coded messages for the purposes of text messages and social media. The "Anti-Weaponization Fund," controversially dubbed a slush fund, was a $1.776 billion initiative established by the Department of Justice. The fund was created to compensate individuals who claimed they were politically targeted or unfairly prosecuted, such as President Trump's allies and January 6th rioters. 

Will Trump be encouraging violence with code word marching orders for July 4th? Yes, people are suspect of a man filled with hatred and REVENGE. He denies giving marching orders for the January, 6, attack on our capital and congressmen who now have amnesia of themselves hiding from their OWN party in terror.

I believe people will be afraid to go out amonst all of the patriots. The American patriots have proven themselves to be violent rageful people. Some are like those patriots are going to get set off and say minorities have no right to celebrate because it's NOT their country. Low key under their breath but loud enough to be  heard before the laughter broke out, "Go back to your own country," as they pass by people of color and laugh. One of them will hear the veiled attempt at next, thing, BOOM! right to the kisser if you're lucky because the preferred weapon is a gun. You will hear the Black warriors cry, "oh, you done picked the wrong one today baby".

I know you are reading this thinking all this talk is paranoia or just upsurd. But, I say this is what America is celebrating: June 10, A large burning cross — a historic symbol of hate and intimidation against Black Americans — was discovered in a Chicago park where former President Barack Obama famously delivered his acceptance speech when he was elected the nation’s first Black president.

The hanging bodies of Blacks have been increasing. Because of it slavery history, no Black person would choose hanging for suicide. It makes a person go ummmmm. If you taught American Black History, more people would know and understand this. A revulsion for hanging is in our DNA. Yet the bodies of several Black individuals found hanging in public spaces during 2025 and early 2026 sparked national outrage and civil rights investigations. While local authorities officially ruled many of these deaths as suicides, grieving families and advocacy groups suspect foul play, noting they follow a historical pattern of racial terror.

I don't know about you but I DON'T feel like CELEBRATING AMERICA. Do you? Don't say move then. America would be empty if those proud of their Irish, German, Itailinm lineage went back to THEIR country. We have celebration days for them and their hisotry is NOT being CANCELED in America. Go figure. Everyone is complaining about something bad happening everyday. People can't take this chaos and hatred where GREED is all that matters. Accumulation of WEALTH matters more than YOU having health care or higher pay. People have been creating a great divide between the haves and have not with no relief from it all in sight.

I'm probably being CALLED racist for speaking up about the treatment of my same color people. I'm not racist, I'm just asking for what you are doing to stop. No matter how I tell you how hateful and hurtful it is, you're going to cancel me every which way you can. People who CARE about you would stop behavior that HURT you  as soon as you let them know your feelings about it. Denial is most racist people's way of showing LOVE. But, facts are facts unless you are in Trump's favorite state and residency of UNEDUCATED.

Don't say I'm NOT a PATRIOT. This patriot put some sole to her patriotism. I joined the Army, defended my country in the First Gulf War with two honorable discharges because my job was so important to the war. I was called up again after my first honorable discharge and back home again after three years of service. It is because I AM a patriot, I blog.

Let's not put lipstick on this pig. You can't spray FECES with perfume. I can't at least. Our HATRED of one another is out of contol, quick to pull out a gun, and get pardened and cash from Trump. This AMERICA stinks. Sorry, it needs to be said. Everyone COMPLAING. We need to go back to a time when Jesus preached the Gospel. What he would have penned about America, I can imagine.

Adults want God back in school while others are begging for God in you. Children are not succombing to the outside influences. Thier Christian hypocritcal parents are driving their children to find the opposite of what THEIR parents are doing (Erasing Black people from History). Let's have Pam Bondi in every school screaming at children of Democrats how Biden screwed the country. You would be proud of that child, I would call it a nightmare if they adopting those insane, lying, hostile, juevenile, ridiculous Christian ways. All Republican are looped into Christianity automatically and every Dem cast out. How about teaching your kids about the segragated heaven your going to. No minorities allowed. Yeah. Put Christ back in YOU first parents.

What about the New Black Panther Party? At its peak in the late 1960s, the original Black Panther Party had an estimated 2,000 to 5,000 full-time members spread across 45 chapters. The revolutionary organization actively disbanded in the early 1980s, though a few hundred alumni are still alive today. The New Black Panther Party (NBPP) is a relatively small organization, with independent estimates and watchdog groups placing its core active membership in the low hundreds across localized chapters. REMEMBER how many hate groups there are in America, who belongs to them, and what ethnicity? Already people are crying the sky is falling because a handful of Black people are uniting to say, "My Black is beautiful, intelligent, and a source of pride."

Any OTHER, other than White groups supposedly frightens them because WE are so violent and criminal. Lately you can here a person say, "They were born that way and we gave them time to change (assimulate) and they didn't". That is what is continually EMPHASIZED. A steady drumbeat of fear of minorities, especially for blond White women who the men are RISING up to PROTECT. That's why you are seeing all of this fake masculinty being portrayed by the weakest man. Trump says he will protect women. What a laugh!

White individuals account for the highest total number of arrests for all crimes in the United States, representing approximately 69% of total arrests. However, Black individuals are disproportionately arrested and incarcerated at rates higher than their representation in the overall population, particularly for violent crimes. FOX news will call this and the entire post, FAKE NEWS. Sad.

The number one crime for which white men are arrested in the United States is larceny-theft (that's why Trump is so Good at robbing America). Are they TOO LAZY TO WORK OR WHAT? This encompasses acts like shoplifting, purse-snatching, and theft from buildings. This is followed closely by other property crimes, as well as simple assault and driving under the influence (DUI). How is this going down with Christians in our Christian nation?

Let me leave you with this. Minorities and women have allowed lies about them to go on withour being challenged. Trump loves the uneducated, because he'll FEED them with his TRUTH and his supporters will help him speading the lies with CONVICTION and VICTRIOL. WAKE up even is Trump shames you for being WOKE. All AMERICANS should be celebrating this July 4th with pride. This year more pain and fear will be felt than PRIDE.

As a little girl of the 1960's I grew up singing to songs where James Brown sang, "Say it loud! I'm Black and I'm Proud!" We as a country should all say what activist Jesse Jackson said as he fought for civil rights for Blacks for a lifetime. Jesse Jackson’s most famous rallying cry and sacred affirmation for Black identity and dignity is "I Am Somebody."

Make it a POINT to reset your beliefs and intentions because everybody is sombody this 250th American Anniversary. So everyone can celebrate safely and with pride. We can DO BETTER.

Now, I also know many White families are suffering as much as minorities. You are seen and heard. We all must solve this inhopitical political climate we are FORCED to watch crash and burn.
