God Commanded Love Republicans

Man, I never thought a day would come when LOVE was TAKEN OUT of Christianity. We are here though. Love is the biggest indicator in how to identify a CHRISTIAN. The famous phrase "the greatest of these is love" comes from 1 Corinthians 13:13 in the Bible. Written by the Apostle Paul, this passage is frequently referred to as "the love chapter" and concludes his iconic message on the nature and importance of godly, self-sacrificing love. Luke 6:32-33 and Matthew 5:46-47, which explain that loving those who love you is easy, but loving your enemies is what sets a believer apart. 

Another way we are to show love is by, "And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also," Matthew 5:40. Chrisatians are also given instructions in Psalm 25:21, "If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink". Corinthians 13:1-3, which famously states that even our greatest achievements, spiritual gifts, and sacrifices mean absolutely nothing without love. We are reminded of the the Great Commandment. In Matthew 22:36-40, Jesus summarizes the foundation of all biblical law into two inseparable actions:

The First Commandment: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.The Second Commandment: Love your neighbor as yourself. These two principles form the core of Christian ethics. 

Americans have declared themselves as a Christion nation with hate towrads every ethnicity except CAUCASIAN. The POOR are ridiculed and shamed, Name calling is the specialty these days. Intimidation is rampant and Trump is deciding WHO is a CHRISTIAN by CONSERVATIVE standards. He is taking a power used by God. We are God's creation created in His image and disparaged by the man claiming to have restored Christianity to Ammerica.

People who use social media joke that people with Christian on their profile are the vilest tweeters. The Right owns X and it is so vile with racism, sexism, and homophobia that they CAN'T BE REPRESENTING GOD. But, do read the postings Christians do on X while calling Dems sinful.

How did people BLOW off the most imprtant commands spoken by Jesus? There is something that is more important than their Christian walk with God. There is no way God is happy with humans. God LOVES, I mean love, love the poor. He puts so much emphasis on it in the Bible til you know you WILL be judged on how you TREAT the poor. Trump despises poor people and let's you know it without hesitation. Supporters find it funny. He is only pretending the people he call dumb are dumb. They're not. But being vicious makes his supporters happy. Christians are CHEERING and SUPPORTING cruelty calling it getting rid of the swamp. Lies.

The Bible mentions caring for the poor, the oppressed, and the needy in over 2,000 verses across both the Old and New Testaments. Because this topic spans instructions, parables, and prophetic themes, it is one of the most frequently repeated subjects in scripture. Christians in America are doing the opposite and are harrassing the poor, degrading them and making them a public ridicule and jokes.

Something is wrong when people JOIN people like this and call it Christianity or God worship. These people have no fear of God. The Lord's Prayer says, "Thy WIIL be done on Earth as it is in heaven." Don't these people dispensing hate realize, the Earth is to reflect heaven because that is your eternal home. Do people believe heaven separates people by color or status? The Bible strictly condemns catering to status and showing favoritism, explicitly defining it as sin. Both the Old and New Testaments emphasize that God judges impartially, focusing on the heart rather than outward appearances or worldly wealth. People care more about Trump's happiness more than God's.

Do racists think Black and Brown people go to a DIFFERENT heaven and only people like them will be there with their crowns. white robes, and finery and pleasures? God CREATED ALL of MANKIND and said it was GOOD. He CREATED humans in HIS IMAGE not just one ETHNICITY and the way people treat and talk about God's creation and decided who can hang out with who on earth is PLAYING God. But He can not be pleased with his representitive on Earth claiming to be the TRUE Christians. Not their decision or concern really. 

Putting the 10 Commandments in school so children can grow up respecting God as the kids watch their President call women demenaing names, give demasculating nicknames to men, and refuse pictures with military member of color or disabilities because it not a good look for him. WHERE is God in any of his behavior and those supporting him? Status and money are big to Trump. As lower earning Americans cry about inflation, Trump said he loves inflation. Only he and his rich friends given even pardons from jail can afford these prices these days. 

Millions of dollars find it's way to him as he golfs every weekend, hosts parties for a rich guest list at Maralogos, and make up special events to praise him and be praised by his LOYAL CULT FOLLOWERS. Millions America can't afford childcare nor healtcare because he says there is no money to FUND those programs. He funds everything we are NOT concerned with. Trump doesn't make things better for anyone but self. He doesn't show LOVE. He is even darkening our children's future renaming once college degrees as not a BS or BA and restricting loans and grants to be able go to college. Trump believes him and Repubs are intelligent while attacking education. Stupidity of those who believes his words or help him to continue the lie education is bad on social media.

The Right feel moral standings against abortion and same sex marriages. They are sins ruining our children. But, what about their lying pretending Trump isn't hurting certan people and he ends wars all around the world and he DESERVES the Nobel Peace Prize? The Bible outlines a firm stance on dishonesty: God views LYING as contrary to His DIVINE nature.. The scriptures list a "lying tongue" as an abomination and warn that deceit leads to severe judgment, though repentance and forgiveness are available.

Truth is a core attribute of His character.  It aligns with the devil: The Book of John (John 8:44) calls the devil the "father of lies," teaching that chronic deceit originates from an ungodly nature.  It carries serious consequences: The Book of Revelation (Revelation 21:8) warns that "all liars" will face judgment in the lake of fire, which is the second death. Forgiveness is available: 1 John 1:9 promises that God is faithful to forgive and purify those who confess and repent of their sins, including dishonesty. 

If adults are so concerned about their children being exposed to Christianity in schols, why aren't their children exposed to God at church and home? "Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve... But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15 (NIV). Their children should be bringing to school the God within them which their parents are attending to, and making sure the are healthy spiritually. We bring GOD with us where ever we go. He is not waiting for children at schools. What about YOUR OWN house? Parents who are Christians and want Christian children, should be sharing God instead of placing that responsiblity on others when the child is yours. You TEACH them God. 

Christians should understand their religion. The Bible reveals that God desires a continuous, unbroken relationship with you. Teaching about God at "home, morning, noon, and night" means maintaining a constant awareness of His presence. This rhythm of ongoing prayer, meditation, and instruction teaches that God is constantly accessible and actively involved in every aspect of your life. It's Christian parent's assignment, not schools.

Protestors say," We need God back in our schools!" Evidently, they need Him in the home MORE. These are YOUR BAD kids going there and you yell for more God in schools. Our kids would be different if Christians took full RESPNSIBILITY for ungodly actions people call, boys will be boys, or it's just locker room talk, and last, not least, she is so FRIENDLY. Okay, lol. I know in Mississipii Christians send their children away to college so they can freely SIN and family and FRIENDS can't get wind of little Suzy and Michael wild college days behaivior. They graduate and marry prominant families ensuring wealth. Wild days never existed.

It's so funny that local Christians of a certain race would drive miles to by alcohol. They ordered by the case at the secret out-of -the way liquer store.

The Bible says KNOW a person by their fruit, The Bible verse "You will know them by their fruits" is found in Matthew 7:16 within the New Testament. What are the fruits of a person following God? The "fruits of the Spirit" is a term used in the Bible to describe nine visible, supernatural attributes that the Holy Spirit develops within the life of a believer: LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and selfcontrol. The daily chaos and pain we are experience proves we are NOT a Christian nation.

We are the opposite. People who don't even claim Christianity are pointing out how ANTICHRIST Americans are. It's all here plain. Christians point people to God, To the Cross. Republicans have people fleeing Christianity and patting themselves on the back for never believing in God. God cannot be pleased. Today's Christian is pointing people to self. Look at how the rich have gathered at TBN Trinity Broadcasting Network, to sell you gold, cell phones, internet, most famously sleeping pills and vitamins as God approved His people having them. God is being USED.

One other thing the Bible says that I wish some EVANGELICALS would remember while TRYING to make America Godly again, Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother, in Romans 14:13-23. The primary Bible verse about bearing up the weak in Romans 15:1, where the Apostle Paul writes, "We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves" (King James Version). Republicans are cancelling everyone, women, gays, etc.

Galatians 3:28, which states: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus" (ESV). They are even pushing MEN are SUPERIOR to WOMEN. Men protect. Women serve THEIR HUSBANDS, not putting herself SUBORDINATE to EVERY man on Earth!!! Christians are missing God who DON'T have a RELATIONSHIP with GOD. He laid it all out so simply. Now, man has rewitten God's Word and DEMAND for it to be followed, worshipped, above everyone or anything else. Trump wants WORSHIP. Self-righteousness has made Christions BLIND.

But, God cares so much, He spelled it out. WHO is HIS? Wake up! Stop lying to yourself! We are witnessing the most antichrist behavior from the Christian Right with many Evangelicals celebrating the removal of people they believe are influencing society while letting God's ambassorship goes out the window for a RELIGIOUS COUNTRY. Christians know, Jesus gave the promise of grace so that we can endure through adversity. The concept that you are given enough grace to survive evil and hardship ties closely to the teachings and scriptures of the Bible

• Overcoming with Good: In the teachings of Jesus and the writings of the apostles, the way to navigate evil is not necessarily by retaliating, but by responding with goodness (Romans 12:21). Jesus instructed His followers to love their enemies and pray for those who persecute them (Matthew 5:44).
  
  
   Enduring Temptation: The Bible reassures believers that "God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your strength, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape" (1 Corinthians 10:13). Furthermore, Christians know because ALL are sinful, you can't make a Godly country. It's not possible, so the Right is getting rid of people with SINS THEY DON'T LIKE. Not based upon God's word or you would not be tying to edit what God let's exist. You are not God Jr. You have no heavenly authority to decide the fate of large number of people.
• No one is afraid of God's judgement and wrath. Genesis warned us of a time like this and warned Christians to be aware of false PROPHETS and TEACHERS. The Book of Revelation actually addresses seven literal churches in ancient Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey). Keep your eye on Turkey in this America, Israeli, and Iranian mess. Each city received a specific prophetic letter from Jesus Christ regarding its spiritual strengths, struggles, and warnings.

  • Pergamum (Revelation 2:12-17): The Compromising Church. Praised for holding fast to Christ's name, but warned against tolerating paganism and false teachings. 
  • Thyatira (Revelation 2:18-29): The Corrupt Church. Known for their growing love and good works, but heavily rebuked for tolerating a false prophetess and leading people into immorality. 
  • Sardis (Revelation 3:1-6): The Dead Church. Rebuked for having a reputation of being alive, but spiritually asleep, though a few remained faithful. 
  • Philadelphia (Revelation 3:7-13): The Faithful Church. Praised for their patient endurance and keeping God's word, facing no rebuke and receiving a promise of divine protection. 
  • Laodicea (Revelation 3:14-22): The Lukewarm Church. Famously described as being neither "hot nor cold." Rebuked for their self-reliance and spiritual apathy. We know the CHURCH means followers of Christ. Get right CHURCH and let's go home. If you you are a Trump loyalist, MAGA, Conservative, etc. who are not demonstrating the FRUITS OF THE BELIEVER. Repenting is require and lovingly extended by God and get back to pointing people to God  and not an AGENDA. God's agenda is the only one that matters. That at the end of your earthly life, after the Great Judgement, you live only to worship and praise Him with no more threat of sorrw or pain. 
    
  • His love and grace is extended to us so we can increase in godliness. Godliness is not DEMANDED nor FORCED upon anyone by God. It has to be a FREE CHOICE. not a legislated order. Christians also know this.
  • Those dismayed by the CHRISTIANITY they are WITNESSING, you're RIGHT, that's not God. Shameful the Christians no longer cares if they represents God. Something became MORE IMPORTANT than God. I'm sorry for you if it is Trump. 
  • I'll leave this for ALL people claiming publically to be FOLLOWERS OF GOD. The Bible directly connects the way we treat our brothers and sisters (those who also claim Christianity) to our love for God. The most specific verse about seeing a brother in need and failing to help is 1 John 3:17:

WHO YOU TALKIN BOUT WILLIS?

What do Donald Trump, Elon Musk, King Charles III, and Emmanuel Macron all have in common? They are the most frequently cited candidates in recent online searches and discussions about the identity of the Antichrist.

This phenomenon of trying to identify the Antichrist isn't new. Throughout history, many have attempted to match contemporary figures to biblical prophecies about this future world leader. There's also one pivotal event that will confirm his identity conclusively.

Before the Antichrist's revelation, we would expect to see several key indicators. Secondly, the Antichrist will play an initial role as a peacemaker (particularly regarding Israel). Okay I had to introduce this with a more reliable source than me so, I began with CBN, so no one with white jackets would be sent after me. I've been hinting at this "ANTI-CHRIST" belief many people of the Christian faith believe in. I am one of such persons. It is a prophecy given to future Christians of a complete end to the world as we know now it. I was a skeptic, until I met Donald Trump 2.0, and he is PURE EVIL. The Book of Revelation of the Christian Bible depicts an EVIL never before witnessed and I believe we have seen ONLY the BEGINNING of Trump's cruelty. His DEMAND for the Nobel Peace Pride and claims he has and will bring PEACE globally, is an obssession of his. He slobbers at the mouth to be known as a peacemaker.

Okay. So, this Book of Revealtion can possibly be seen as happening again as people cried with Nero, Nepolian Bona Part, and Hitler. But those leaders were STOPPED! There does not seem to be any stopping Trump. He is an accused PEDOPHILE that was not brought in for questioning, nor the case investigated with victimes waving flags sayng, "Here I am. I am a victim of sexual abuse." No files are needed. A trial should have BEEN called, presented with evidence that should be subpoenaed, (If withheld presented that as evidence of guilt), and let a jury decided. Not elect him president until found not guilty in COURT. Isn't that how our law is suppose to work to protect the country from criminals? The country has totally FAILED: PAST and his FUTURE victims. AMERICA is now his VICTIM. He is a CRIMIAL MASTERMIND with no BOTTOM.

I wanted to go ahead a put my beliefs out there. I'm not in the CONVINCING business. I'm well aware there is a large majority of people who call the Book of Revelation a fairytale and too far-fetched to ever come true. I understand respect that belief also. There are CLOSET BELIEVERS and WARY BELIEVERS. I was wary until Donald Trump. I will also write on what to do if we are in the End Times as the Bible dictates. No matter what kind of times we are in, they are SERIOUS times where our ACTIONS have serious consequences. I believe in SPIRITUAL WARFARE, knowledge and understanding. Hopefully I'm HELPING and NOT HURTING.

America the Deceived or the Deceiver???

Lately I've been baffled as I watch the pastors, preachers, ministers, shepherds and teachers leave their first love. Revelation 2:4, Jesus tells the church of Ephesus, "But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first".  The church lost its passion for Jesus like when they first were saved. It's a reminder of who saved you and why you were saved. It reminds the Christian of who they once were. And it can be assumed if you love someone (God, Jesus) you will want to please them.

So, Christians must continually ask, "What pleases God?" What pleases God includes having faith, obeying divine commands, and living a life of righteousness, justice, and LOVE TOWARDS OTHERS. This involves actions like demonstrating compassion, showing kindness, serving the community, and producing the fruit of the Spirit, such as love, joy, and patience. Specifically, some faiths highlight the importance of receiving God's gifts like forgiveness and pursuing holiness by saying no to sin and yes to righteousness. At this time in history, are Christians pleasing God?

Watching to TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) it's hard to see pastors, preachers, teachers, and ministers talking more about Republicans than God. They no longer point to God but to President Donald Trump. They tell their congregation, "We have a lot of people who are poor. What should we do because Jesus said in Matthew 26:11, "The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me". This verse is also found in Mark 14:7 and John 12:8, and is a direct reference to Deuteronomy 15:11, which states, "For there will never cease to be poor in the land". Why would a pastor say this? To make it palatable for Christians to not care about the suffering many poor people are experiencing under the Trump administration.

One of the jobs of Christians is to set THEMSELVES apart from the world, not to conquer the land. Right now the Evangelicals have banded together to make America a Christian nation again. That is good and all, but what makes a Christian nation? People accepting Christ.

"Separating yourself from the world" is a concept found in many spiritual and philosophical traditions, generally meaning to detach from worldly attachments, values, and desires to pursue spiritual growth, or to live a higher set of principles. It involves a deliberate choice to focus on inner self, practice detachment from material possessions, and avoid the negative or sinful aspects of the surrounding culture, without necessarily isolating from people entirely. 2 Corinthians 6:17, "Therefore go out from their midst, and separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you". This is a direct quote often cited in discussions about separation from the world. 

Christians have NEVER been called to force their beliefs on others. If America is to be a Christian nation, then people must have a heart change, other than this, it will be a forced Christianity which God doesn't desire. Several Bible verses address living in a way that glorifies God, particularly by demonstrating love and good deeds towards others. Key verses include the phrase "I never knew you" appears in Matthew 7:23 and Luke 13:25-27, where Jesus is speaking to people who have claimed to perform miracles in his name but have not truly followed God's will. In these verses, he states, "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness" 1 Peter 2:12, which says to "Keep your conduct honorable among the Gentiles... so that... they may... glorify God in the day of visitation," and Matthew 7:12, which is the Golden Rule: "Do to others what you would have them do to you". Another relevant verse is Philippians 2:4: "Look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others". 

If America is to be a Christian nation, the Christians must behave as Christians. Many of them have no problem saying WHO hates God. But have their attitude and behavior brought people to Christ or repelled people from Christ? In Romans 14:13, it states, "Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.

Maybe people are rejecting Christianity not because of God, but because of His cold-hearted, callous followers.

Christians say they are concerned with the secular education their children are receiving and want to change it for the children. They want to change the different cultures to Christian. Well. change begins at home. Proverbs 22:6, which states: "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it". Are Christians demonstrating their faith and trust in God complaining their children are being corrupted by the world? Are the faithful, faithful?

The Christian does not depend on playbooks like Project 2025. They look to where their help comes from, "My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth" is found in Psalm 121:2. It is part of a larger psalm (Psalm 121) that speaks of God as the ultimate source of protection and strength for those who look to Him. Christians are looking to Donald Trump to save them from sinners. How they forget, they are also sinners. What if we legislated Christians to live a truly HOLY life?

The church has a holy vision that they believe can only be achieved by cracking down on SINNERS. Not BIBLICAL teaching. How then can change come that is Godly? 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land". This verse is a promise from God that if His people repent, He will respond to their prayers with forgiveness and healing. It didn't say govern people with Christian laws and policies. No! It is Christians REPENTING and PRAYING that will heal the land.

One would believe Christians do not read their Bible or live by it. One would even question, do they know God? This is the FRUIT of the spirit onlookers see. I have long said Evangelicals are giving Christianity a black eye and God cannot be pleased with them trusting and relying on such a wicked, greedy, heartless, prideful man. The Bible verse about knowing people by their fruit is found in Matthew 7:16-20, which states, "Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? ... A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore, by their fruit you will recognize them". This passage is a teaching from Jesus to discern true followers and prophets by observing their actions and the outcomes of their lives. What fruits are Christians supposed to have and be recognized by: Galatians 5:22-23, which states, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law" (NIV). These qualities are produced by the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers. Christians today do not have the joy which comes from God. They are angry and bitter. Complaining all the time about sinful people.

The book of Revelation, the only book of the Bible which says not to change one WORD of its text, no adding or taking away, gave us a warning about the church (The primary Bible verses prohibiting changes to God's word are Deuteronomy 4:2 and Revelation 22:18-19) in the End Times. The seven churches of Revelation are Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, Laodicea, each with a specific problem addressed in the biblical text, warning us this church no longer honors or worships God. Ephesus was rebuked for leaving its first love, Smyrna for persecution, Pergamum for tolerating false teachings and immorality, Thyatira for a false prophetess, Sardis for being spiritually dead, Philadelphia for enduring trials, and Laodicea for being spiritually lukewarm and complacent. Keep an eye on the church to see if they are behaving like the 7 churches mentioned to KNOW how much trouble we are in if Evangelicals have been fooled into thinking Trump is an answer for a secular world. 

"My grace is sufficient to overcome the world" is not a complete quote from the Bible, but the sentiment comes from 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, where God tells the apostle Paul, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” You can't evangelize if you are an oppressor or one seeking power and money. We know the church has become greedy and encouraging hurtful actions towards Christians and non-Christians. Maybe Christians are the cause of the problems we're facing. Maybe people are rejecting God because of His ambassadors representing Him.

When I think of today's church, I cannot believe how they are supporting Trump. I can't believe how easily they call others, sinners.

How to identify sinners in the Bible

• Look for actions that violate God's law: 

  The Bible lists specific sins such as murder, adultery, lying, stealing, and coveting. 
• Observe a person's relationship with God and others: 

  Sins like not loving God or your neighbor, speaking ill of others, or being selfish are also considered sinful. 
• Consider the role of intent: 

  The Bible distinguishes between those who knowingly violate God's commands and those whose actions are simply part of their sinful nature. 
• Recognize the presence of self-righteousness: 

  The Bible also identifies self-righteous people as sinners because their actions and words are not in line with God's law. 

While the Bible provides a clear definition of a sinner, it is not a label that can be used to judge or condemn others. Instead, it is a reminder that all people are in need of God's grace and forgiveness through Jesus Christ.  

Today's Christian is wrapped up in the sins of others and forgetting their duty as Christians. In Matthew 7:23, where Jesus tells those who claim to know him but did not do the will of the Father, "I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness". The phrase "I never knew you" appears in Matthew 7:23 and Luke 13:25-27, where Jesus is speaking to people who have claimed to perform miracles in his name but have not truly followed God's will. In these verses, he states, "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness!'"

The Evangelicals BELIEVE they are doing the will of God when Jesus' ministry tells us to guard our hearts. Our heart condition is what matters and even if you quote scripture, look holy, or evangelize, those deeds are good, but it's about the unseen heart which God sees. This is how he can say "I never knew you even though my name was constantly on your lips.

If Trump does all the Evangelicals want, they won't be satisfied and need more. The lust of their heart is no longer God. We will have to stay tuned to see what the corruption of power will do to the church. History repeats you know. Stay tuned and don't let Christian people sway you into not trusting and depending on God to answer prayers if the CHRISTIAN repents and pray.

For LEADERS and teachers there is a dire warning they should be aware of. The seven woes in Matthew 23 are pronouncements of judgment by Jesus against the scribes and Pharisees for their hypocrisy. They are, shutting the kingdom of heaven from others, leading converts to hell, being BLIND GUIDES who prioritize minor details over major principles, being inwardly corrupt despite outward appearances, and feigning respect for prophets while perpetuating their violence. Self-righteousness led them from the ministry of Jesus.

The Bible strongly warns against self-righteousness, emphasizing that true righteousness comes from God's grace and faith in Jesus Christ, not from human works or merit. Self-righteousness is presented as a dangerous deception and a sin that blinds people to their true spiritual state and God's standards. Biblical passages like Romans 10:3, Galatians 6:3, and the parable of the Pharisee and tax collector in Luke 18:9-14 show that relying on one's own good deeds leads to pride, vanity, and a failure to submit to God's will.

• True righteousness is God's gift: 

  The Bible teaches that humans are inherently sinful and our best deeds fall short of God's perfect standard. Righteousness is not earned but is granted through faith in Jesus Christ's sacrifice. 
Self-righteousness is a deception: 
It creates a false sense of purity and blinds people to their need for God's cleansing and mercy. The apostle Paul rejected his own perceived righteousness, considering it a "loss" compared to the superior righteousness found in Christ. 
It leads to pride and judgment: 
Self-righteous people often focus on their own achievements and can become hypocritical and judgmental of others. Jesus highlighted this danger by showing how the humble tax collector, unlike the proud Pharisee, was considered righteous by God.
