We've Made 250 Years America, Now What?

We did it and most of us did it in style. We just finished celebrating America's 250th birthday. The planets and stars in heaven are saying after the 4th of July weekend, there will be a great shift happening in the people of Earth.

In the astrology and wellness communities, many intuitive readers and astrologers are pointing to a major "timeline shift" this July. Influencers are emphasizing themes like amplified consciousness, the death of old illusions, and rapid personal growth designed to rewrite our collective energy.

Yes, astrologers, those who do horoscopes, and tarot readers are saying, "An awakening and change of beliefs are changing and it's major for the month of July. Authenticity and truth will cause the need for change." These people watch the movement of planets, know the history of what occured in history when planets and stars lined up in certain ways. God gave the bodies in the heavens as signs. Some people choose to pay attention without worshipping what God uses for communication with man.

Just as people sneer ans scoff at the idea that God speaks to people, they scoff and condemn people for believing the planets and stars have any relavence in human's daily lives. I'm not trying to convince you to believe or not believe. I write about what I know and I know God is trying to get the attention of humans to repent and turn from their sinful ways in every way available.

For me, I had an awakening of my own. I realized my entire life I've been waiting to die. Yes. You read right. I expected bad things, pain, rejection, and no love daily. It was easy to believe I didn't deserve anything good. To be humble means not expecting grand things from God in my understanding of the Bible. And I also praised the horrible things that happened and I was always prepared for, as GROWTH, WISDOM. 

I believed 100% that Satan was always on the prowl seeking those he could devour and kill. I believed in Satan's power without questioning nor doubting it. But, God's ability to give us good blessing, miracles beyond our belief, I doubted wholeheartedly even when Scripture and my personal walk with God told me to believe His word above all else.

I waited for bad, which is promised, and actively denied and ran from the good promised to me by God. I never believed I did anything worthy of goodness, because I came short everyday of being sin free, not worshipping enough, not praying enough, not having faith to make it out of the really tough times. I believed I was never going to be a good embassador of Christ. Each day, I recounted and repented for sin. Many days were, in essence, filled with self-torture of I don't deserve good because I'm not good. If good showed up, I waited for the shoe of bad to show up and not even acknowledge the good. It was like, "Get out of the way good, so the bad can hurry up and come and be over with quickly." Good to me, signaled bad is coming.

I needed to do something after this realization, believing in man's power to hurt and harm, Satan's power to hurt and harm, without question and with expectation. I DIDN'T believe in God's love for me and wanting good things for me. He gives love and gifts even better than earthly parents, and I wanted to die everyday. I was wrong on so many levels. 

What I needed was the RENEWING of my mind like the Scripture tells me to have in Romans 12ff. I had done some things right in my misinterpretation of God's love. I tried to offer myself as a LIVING sacrifice of WORSHIP trying to be holy and pleasing to God. Somehow I had sense enough to strive to do that. In Romans 4 we read our faith gives us CREDIT with God. Our FAITH is credited as RIGHTEOUNESS in God's eye. Faith in his goodness, not just fear of his wrath, is counted as righteousness. Romans 5 goes on to say believers are FREE from God's wrath and are given PEACE and JOY. More Scripture I evidently didn't believe.

Mind renewal is what is needed by us all going forward. The Bible says renewal of the mind is a TRANSFORMATION that ALLOWS us to be able to TEST and APPROVE what God's WILL is, His good, pleasing, and perfect will, Romans 12:2. You are to think highly of yourself with sober judgement in accordance with the MEASURE of faith God has GIVEN you. I thought you could never think highly of yourself as it is bragging. No. God said, think of yourself highly where God has increased you in faith. Mature Christians should have pride in the faith that grew them and kept them in relationship with God. It is his GIFT to his believers who have faith in Him. 

Each member of the body of Christ HAS a GIFT. The gift given to you, whether anyone agrees or acknowledge it is to be used to it's fullest. It can't be used if you believe only BAD is life's fate. It's not. My name, when spoken, means GIFT OF GOD, and I have lived my life as anything but. Trying to be humble, sinfree, righteous, and/or a good Christian, left me unable to live in anticipation of joy and God's goodness. I had a SPIRIT of COMPLAINT. I wasn't anyone's gift. Not even a gift to myself.

My pastor said a thing that caught my attention Sunday. He said, "Have you ever seen a lighthouse CHASE boats?" That was profound to me. Our gifts are a light which we are told to be in the world. Many of us use our light to chase, demand, condemn. A light guides the boats to safe harbor. Boats SEARCH for the lighthouse for guidance and direction. That light is given to every Christian, but in seeking God and his will, we sometimes get distracted. 

If our president is a good example of anything it's DISTRACTION. Distraction is used to keep the eyes and ears from TRUTH, what is REAL. It is easy for me to believe and except distraction from what is true and good, when I have NO faith in the POWER of God and His word. I chose to believe in the world's and Satan's power and not my God's power. My mind needed renewing and quickly.

God's word is the truth in the truthless wolrd we NOW live in. But we don't believe it wholeheartedly. The Word of God is a part of our battle uniform, the Armor of God. I have not been properly dressed for war. My war was in my head. I was fighting against the goodness of God, that it wasn't meant for me. I was a REAL Christian always fighting against evil and growing more and more weary everyday. 

God wants me to have joy and peace. He also said for those who DELIGHT in Him, he will GIVE the DESIRES of their HEART, Psalm 37:4. To delight in Him is to always know He wants the best for you/us down to every hidden and known desire of our hearts. God has proven this to me so many times, yet I became bogged down in only recognizing and anticipating bad for my life. 

Today, I choose to stand in FAITH, on the words of Scripture. My life is going to be UNBELIEVABLY magical with great gifts and miracles from God. I believed the worst of God in which he rather not give, and not the LOVE of God which He WANTS to give His children.

The part of the prayer that says, "On earth as it is  in heaven," resonates more in a new way. I have ALWAYS looked forward to the day I see God face to face. I have pictured me falling to his feet in tears, seeing the ONE who loved me, watched over me, choose me. The Lord's PRAYER says I can have that same love and adoration for Him on earth like the angels already have in heaven. I can have that SAME feeling here on earth if I allow such joy and happiness into my life right now.

I have decided to choose to LIVE and honor God's will that I do live. I welcome everything He has for me as He allows me to remain on earth. I've embraced the ugliness and meanness of life. Now it's time to have that SAME kind of FAITH for the good things God is bringing into my life the rest of 2026 and beyound. You CAN too. I'm renewing my mind lining up with God's words of blessings and goodness. I'm saying His power is ABOVE every power known to man and He loves me. I'm going to LIVE LIKE GOD LOVES ME. 

I'm running to this new direction in life, taking ALL limits and my own imposed restrictions on God off. I'm inviting His love for me to show up and show out. Complaining is done because my EXPECTATIONS of evil and disappointments have CHANGED. I will SING of the GOODNESS of God. I repented and I've turned. Can't wait to see what miracles and blessings God has for my future.

Why Study the Bible For Yourself?

This seems like a SIMPLE QUESTION. Why study the Bible for yourself? First of all, it was you who decided to accept, believe, and turn your life over to God. You CHOSE Him. He has left a guide or instructions for those choosing to follow Him how to live, the BIBLE. 

It is the CHRISTIAN'S guidebook that WE must know and ADHERE to. Some people have taken the COMMAND to spresd the GOSPEL as force NONCHRISTIANS to live by the Bible. The Gospels are for nonchristians, everything else is for followers of God and Jesus to grow in a personal RELATIONSHIP with God and that is ACHEIVED through STUDYING, LEARNING his nature and WORD so you can STAND the WICKEDNESS of EARTH as you save souls for the KINGDOM.

Another reason is that studying the Scripture shows you trying to UNDERSTAND God, His love for HUMANITY, HIS GRACE and MERCY for His creation and HOW you fit into His PLAN. Bible study is showing you CARE about the things God cares about. You are SUPPORTING God's will for man putting aside your OWN earthly agendas. It says, "I serve you God, your WILL and PURPOSE for mankind".

To ALLOW another HUMAN the total responsibility for you Christian walk is not CORRECT. It is your RESPONSIBILTY to serve God in the CAPACITY He wants and get those direction straight from the horses mouth. That's who you trust with your SOUL and not man because he falls PREY to sin. Sooner or later, you follow man, quicker than the understanding and wisdom of God. People who KNOW the nature of God, understands he communicate to Christians where their understanding. During your Christian journey, God grows you to a mature Christian which takes years of studying the Bible as it unfols to YOUR LEVEL of Christian maturity. Your GROWTH in God is DEPENDENT on Bible Study. God speaks to Christians through the Bible, prayer, and SIGNS.

In the Book of Genesis, "signs" (Hebrew: ’ôth) refer to divine tokens, wonders, or visible markers used by God to REVEAL His presence, CONFIRM His promises, or WARN humanity. Celestial Signs (Genesis 1:14): God established the sun, moon, and stars in the sky to act as visible signs to mark days, years, and sacred seasons. The Mark of Cain (Genesis 4:15): After Cain was banished for murdering Abel, God placed a protective "sign" or mark upon him. This served as an indicator to ensure no one would exact vengeance and kill Cain. The Rainbow (Genesis 9:12–17): God set the rainbow in the clouds as the visible sign of His covenant with Noah. It serves as an everlasting reminder of His promise to never again destroy the earth by a global flood. The Stars as a Promise (Genesis 15:5): God brought Abram outside at night and told him to count the stars. He used the vast, uncountable cosmos as a sign and visual guarantee that Abram's descendants would be equally as numerous.

The "feed my sheep" verses are found in John 21:15-17 , the disciple who God SHOWED the BOOK OF REVELATION to. After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to His disciples and asked Peter three times, "Do you love me?" Each time Peter affirmed his love, Jesus commanded him to "Feed my lambs" and "Feed my sheep". Peter was the CORNERSTONE of the new CHURCH Jesus was proclaiming was at hand.

The Bible speaks and teaches on 3 LEVELS. To the babe in Christ, to those continuing their trust in faith in God, to the MATURE Christian in Christ. The second stage is where confusion, tradition, and agendas sneak in. This is where it is important to KNOW the NATURE of God, which never changes, but people can change their understanding of the WORDS of the Bible differently.

This is WHY there are so many DENOMINATIONS in the Protestant FAITH. God spoke a CERTAIN word at a certain time and then the church would claim to have the RIGHT understanding of God's word. God speaks individually to people and so does SATAN. Knowing the nature and WILL of God keeps down confusion and division among his body. 

Studying the Bible allows you clarity in what God HATES and cannot abide and the NATURE of MAN that he longs will change. He let's the studyer of the Bible sees and understand His LOVE for His creation and how He wants the BEST for them through all their evil and sinning. His love is ENDURING.

Lastly, studying the Bible helps you determine who else STANDS with God by their fruits. The "fruit of the Spirit" is a biblical concept from the New Testament book of Galatians (Galatians 5:22-23). It outlines nine visible attributes that the Holy Spirit naturally develops in the character and life of a follower of Jesus Christ: Love: Selfless, unconditional care and devotion for others. Joy: An abiding sense of gladness and inner peace not dependent on circumstances. Peace: A tranquil state of mind and harmony with God and others. Patience: The ability to endure difficult situations, delays, or the faults of others without anger. Kindness: A genuine, helpful, and compassionate disposition toward others. Goodness: Moral excellence, integrity, and doing what is right. Faithfulness: Loyalty, trustworthiness, and steadfastness in commitments. Gentleness: A humble, mild, and meek approach to dealing with people. Self-Control: The ability to govern one's desires, passions, and impulses.

One thing that has intimidating me and CAUSED me to follow along is the DEFINITION of the TRINITY, which I now am ready to address and blog on. Christians who LOVE God, loves his word. For me, it's a LOVE LETTER: tender, caring, and deep. God ACHES with love for His creation. How can WE be ANYTHING but LOVING to ourselves? Man, I never thought a day would come when LOVE was TAKEN OUT of Christianity. We are here though. Love is the biggest indicator in how to identify a CHRISTIAN. The famous phrase "the greatest of these is love" comes from 1 Corinthians 13:13 in the Bible. Written by the Apostle Paul, this passage is frequently referred to as "the love chapter" and concludes his iconic message on the nature and importance of godly, self-sacrificing love. Luke 6:32-33 and Matthew 5:46-47, which explain that loving those who love you is easy, but loving your enemies is what sets a believer apart. 

Another way we are to show love is by, "And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also," Matthew 5:40. Chrisatians are also given instructions in Psalm 25:21, "If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink". Corinthians 13:1-3, which famously states that even our greatest achievements, spiritual gifts, and sacrifices mean absolutely nothing without love. We are reminded of the the Great Commandment. In Matthew 22:36-40, Jesus summarizes the foundation of all biblical law into two inseparable actions:

The First Commandment: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.The Second Commandment: Love your neighbor as yourself. These two principles form the core of Christian ethics. 

Americans have declared themselves as a Christion nation with hate towrads every ethnicity except CAUCASIAN. The POOR are ridiculed and shamed, Name calling is the specialty these days. Intimidation is rampant and Trump is deciding WHO is a CHRISTIAN by CONSERVATIVE standards. He is taking a power used by God. We are God's creation created in His image and disparaged by the man claiming to have restored Christianity to Ammerica.

People who use social media joke that people with Christian on their profile are the vilest tweeters. The Right owns X and it is so vile with racism, sexism, and homophobia that they CAN'T BE REPRESENTING GOD. But, do read the postings Christians do on X while calling Dems sinful.

How did people BLOW off the most imprtant commands spoken by Jesus? There is something that is more important than their Christian walk with God. There is no way God is happy with humans. God LOVES, I mean love, love the poor. He puts so much emphasis on it in the Bible til you know you WILL be judged on how you TREAT the poor. Trump despises poor people and let's you know it without hesitation. Supporters find it funny. He is only pretending the people he call dumb are dumb. They're not. But being vicious makes his supporters happy. Christians are CHEERING and SUPPORTING cruelty calling it getting rid of the swamp. Lies.

The Bible mentions caring for the poor, the oppressed, and the needy in over 2,000 verses across both the Old and New Testaments. Because this topic spans instructions, parables, and prophetic themes, it is one of the most frequently repeated subjects in scripture. Christians in America are doing the opposite and are harrassing the poor, degrading them and making them a public ridicule and jokes.

Something is wrong when people JOIN people like this and call it Christianity or God worship. These people have no fear of God. The Lord's Prayer says, "Thy WIIL be done on Earth as it is in heaven." Don't these people dispensing hate realize, the Earth is to reflect heaven because that is your eternal home. Do people believe heaven separates people by color or status? The Bible strictly condemns catering to status and showing favoritism, explicitly defining it as sin. Both the Old and New Testaments emphasize that God judges impartially, focusing on the heart rather than outward appearances or worldly wealth. People care more about Trump's happiness more than God's.

Do racists think Black and Brown people go to a DIFFERENT heaven and only people like them will be there with their crowns. white robes, and finery and pleasures? God CREATED ALL of MANKIND and said it was GOOD. He CREATED humans in HIS IMAGE not just one ETHNICITY and the way people treat and talk about God's creation and decided who can hang out with who on earth is PLAYING God. But He can not be pleased with his representitive on Earth claiming to be the TRUE Christians. Not their decision or concern really. 

Putting the 10 Commandments in school so children can grow up respecting God as the kids watch their President call women demenaing names, give demasculating nicknames to men, and refuse pictures with military member of color or disabilities because it not a good look for him. WHERE is God in any of his behavior and those supporting him? Status and money are big to Trump. As lower earning Americans cry about inflation, Trump said he loves inflation. Only he and his rich friends given even pardons from jail can afford these prices these days. 

Millions of dollars find it's way to him as he golfs every weekend, hosts parties for a rich guest list at Maralogos, and make up special events to praise him and be praised by his LOYAL CULT FOLLOWERS. Millions America can't afford childcare nor healtcare because he says there is no money to FUND those programs. He funds everything we are NOT concerned with. Trump doesn't make things better for anyone but self. He doesn't show LOVE. He is even darkening our children's future renaming once college degrees as not a BS or BA and restricting loans and grants to be able go to college. Trump believes him and Repubs are intelligent while attacking education. Stupidity of those who believes his words or help him to continue the lie education is bad on social media.

The Right feel moral standings against abortion and same sex marriages. They are sins ruining our children. But, what about their lying pretending Trump isn't hurting certan people and he ends wars all around the world and he DESERVES the Nobel Peace Prize? The Bible outlines a firm stance on dishonesty: God views LYING as contrary to His DIVINE nature.. The scriptures list a "lying tongue" as an abomination and warn that deceit leads to severe judgment, though repentance and forgiveness are available.

The primary perspectives on lying in the Bible include: It is an abomination to God: Proverbs 6:16-19 explicitly names a "lying tongue" and a "false witness who breathes out lies" among the seven things the Lord detests.  It is contrary to God's nature: Numbers 23:19 and Titus 1:2 state that it is impossible for God to lie. Truth is a core attribute of His character.  It aligns with the devil: The Book of John (John 8:44) calls the devil the "father of lies," teaching that chronic deceit originates from an ungodly nature.  It carries serious consequences: The Book of Revelation (Revelation 21:8) warns that "all liars" will face judgment in the lake of fire, which is the second death. Forgiveness is available: 1 John 1:9 promises that God is faithful to forgive and purify those who confess and repent of their sins, including dishonesty. 

If adults are so concerned about their children being exposed to Christianity in schols, why aren't their children exposed to God at church and home? "Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve... But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15 (NIV). Their children should be bringing to school the God within them which their parents are attending to, and making sure the are healthy spiritually. We bring GOD with us where ever we go. He is not waiting for children at schools. What about YOUR OWN house? Parents who are Christians and want Christian children, should be sharing God instead of placing that responsiblity on others when the child is yours. You TEACH them God. 

Christians should understand their religion. The Bible reveals that God desires a continuous, unbroken relationship with you. Teaching about God at "home, morning, noon, and night" means maintaining a constant awareness of His presence. This rhythm of ongoing prayer, meditation, and instruction teaches that God is constantly accessible and actively involved in every aspect of your life. It's Christian parent's assignment, not schools.

Protestors say," We need God back in our schools!" Evidently, they need Him in the home MORE. These are YOUR BAD kids going there and you yell for more God in schools. Our kids would be different if Christians took full RESPNSIBILITY for ungodly actions people call, boys will be boys, or it's just locker room talk, and last, not least, she is so FRIENDLY. Okay, lol. I know in Mississipii Christians send their children away to college so they can freely SIN and family and FRIENDS can't get wind of little Suzy and Michael wild college days behaivior. They graduate and marry prominant families ensuring wealth. Wild days never existed.

It's so funny that local Christians of a certain race would drive miles to by alcohol. They ordered by the case at the secret out-of -the way liquer store.

The Bible says KNOW a person by their fruit, The Bible verse "You will know them by their fruits" is found in Matthew 7:16 within the New Testament. What are the fruits of a person following God? The "fruits of the Spirit" is a term used in the Bible to describe nine visible, supernatural attributes that the Holy Spirit develops within the life of a believer: LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and selfcontrol. The daily chaos and pain we are experience proves we are NOT a Christian nation.

We are the opposite. People who don't even claim Christianity are pointing out how ANTICHRIST Americans are. It's all here plain. Christians point people to God, To the Cross. Republicans have people fleeing Christianity and patting themselves on the back for never believing in God. God cannot be pleased. Today's Christian is pointing people to self. Look at how the rich have gathered at TBN Trinity Broadcasting Network, to sell you gold, cell phones, internet, most famously sleeping pills and vitamins as God approved His people having them. God is being USED.

One other thing the Bible says that I wish some EVANGELICALS would remember while TRYING to make America Godly again, Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother, in Romans 14:13-23. The primary Bible verse about bearing up the weak in Romans 15:1, where the Apostle Paul writes, "We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves" (King James Version). Republicans are cancelling everyone, women, gays, etc.

Galatians 3:28, which states: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus" (ESV). They are even pushing MEN are SUPERIOR to WOMEN. Men protect. Women serve THEIR HUSBANDS, not putting herself SUBORDINATE to EVERY man on Earth!!! Christians are missing God who DON'T have a RELATIONSHIP with GOD. He laid it all out so simply. Now, man has rewitten God's Word and DEMAND for it to be followed, worshipped, above everyone or anything else. Trump wants WORSHIP. Self-righteousness has made Christions BLIND.

But, God cares so much, He spelled it out. WHO is HIS? Wake up! Stop lying to yourself! We are witnessing the most antichrist behavior from the Christian Right with many Evangelicals celebrating the removal of people they believe are influencing society while letting God's ambassorship goes out the window for a RELIGIOUS COUNTRY. Christians know, Jesus gave the promise of grace so that we can endure through adversity. The concept that you are given enough grace to survive evil and hardship ties closely to the teachings and scriptures of the Bible

Several key verses and concepts align with this promise:

• Sufficient Grace: The apostle Paul shared that Jesus said to him, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9). This is a promise that God's strength will meet us precisely at our lowest points, offering sustaining power in the face of suffering or evil. 
• Overcoming with Good: In the teachings of Jesus and the writings of the apostles, the way to navigate evil is not necessarily by retaliating, but by responding with goodness (Romans 12:21). Jesus instructed His followers to love their enemies and pray for those who persecute them (Matthew 5:44).
  
  
   Enduring Temptation: The Bible reassures believers that "God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your strength, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape" (1 Corinthians 10:13). Furthermore, Christians know because ALL are sinful, you can't make a Godly country. It's not possible, so the Right is getting rid of people with SINS THEY DON'T LIKE. Not based upon God's word or you would not be tying to edit what God let's exist. You are not God Jr. You have no heavenly authority to decide the fate of large number of people.
• No one is afraid of God's judgement and wrath. Genesis warned us of a time like this and warned Christians to be aware of false PROPHETS and TEACHERS. The Book of Revelation actually addresses seven literal churches in ancient Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey). Keep your eye on Turkey in this America, Israeli, and Iranian mess. Each city received a specific prophetic letter from Jesus Christ regarding its spiritual strengths, struggles, and warnings. 
  
  The seven churches, in the order they appear, are:
  • Ephesus (Revelation 2:1-7): The Loveless Church. Praised for their hard work and rejection of false doctrine, but rebuked for forsaking their "first love." 
  • Smyrna (Revelation 2:8-11): The Persecuted Church. Commended for their faithfulness amid intense poverty and tribulation, facing no
  • rebuke. 
  • Pergamum (Revelation 2:12-17): The Compromising Church. Praised for holding fast to Christ's name, but warned against tolerating paganism and false teachings. 
  • Thyatira (Revelation 2:18-29): The Corrupt Church. Known for their growing love and good works, but heavily rebuked for tolerating a false prophetess and leading people into immorality. 
  • Sardis (Revelation 3:1-6): The Dead Church. Rebuked for having a reputation of being alive, but spiritually asleep, though a few remained faithful. 
  • Philadelphia (Revelation 3:7-13): The Faithful Church. Praised for their patient endurance and keeping God's word, facing no rebuke and receiving a promise of divine protection. 
  • Laodicea (Revelation 3:14-22): The Lukewarm Church. Famously described as being neither "hot nor cold." Rebuked for their self-reliance and spiritual apathy. We know the CHURCH means followers of Christ. Get right CHURCH and let's go home. If you you are a Trump loyalist, MAGA, Conservative, etc. who are not demonstrating the FRUITS OF THE BELIEVER. Repenting is require and lovingly extended by God and get back to pointing people to God  and not an AGENDA. God's agenda is the only one that matters. That at the end of your earthly life, after the Great Judgement, you live only to worship and praise Him with no more threat of sorrw or pain. 
    
  • His love and grace is extended to us so we can increase in godliness. Godliness is not DEMANDED nor FORCED upon anyone by God. It has to be a FREE CHOICE. not a legislated order. Christians also know this.
  • Those dismayed by the CHRISTIANITY they are WITNESSING, you're RIGHT, that's not God. Shameful the Christians no longer cares if they represents God. Something became MORE IMPORTANT than God. I'm sorry for you if it is Trump. 
  • I'll leave this for ALL people claiming publically to be FOLLOWERS OF GOD. The Bible directly connects the way we treat our brothers and sisters (those who also claim Christianity) to our love for God. The most specific verse about seeing a brother in need and failing to help is 1 John 3:17:

    "If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?"
