Seven Types of CHURCHES Displease God Republicans!

It's time to ask, "WHAT'S GOING ON IN AMERICA?" You already know the answer, right? Where is the CHURCH when it comes to this administration? You know that answer too.

If you know anything about Christianity, then you know God can be displeased with CHRISTIANS. Did you know that he can also be displeased with CHURCHES? 

If you watch Turner Broadcasting Network, you will notice right away, they teach Donald Trump instead of God. They repeat the phoney media stuff just like MAGA. Somehow, they have the FALSE idea you can CREATE a Christian country by getting rid of the poor and minorities who are responsible for all the ills of America. They have LOST their way. But are they like any of the seven churches named in the book of Revelation in the Bible?

The seven churches in Revelation did wrong in various ways, such as the Ephesus church for leaving its "first love," Perga, Pergamun and Thyatira for tolerating FALSE teachings and immorality, Sardis, for being spiritually dead, and Laodicea for being lukewarm and self-suffecient, The churches of Smyrna and Philadelphia were praised without significant rebuke. 

The church is forgetting about Jesus and God it seems. It has turned it's back on the poor, widow, foreigner, and fatherless. They only see dollars and racism. Sunday morning service on television is gripes of old white men with white women nodding in agreemeent. White men are joining the church in droves, bringing their complaining and hate along with them. The disgruntled has found an listening ear in the church and Donald Trump. The rest of America has to suffer from their idea of who is good and who is bad. The Democrat party has been labled as not Christian. The church joins in calling anyone NOT Republican not a Christian. Judge not least you be judged. If I'm lying, tune in and listen for yourself. TBN is fanning racism and hate for the poor and non-Whites. There is no brotherly love going on over there even though they PROFESS IT with gentle language appearing safe and innocent.

Back to the churches. Ephesus wrongdoing: left their "first love" and lost their initial passion for God. The church has a PASSION for Donald Trump now as a savior figure. Excusing his horrible character with, God selects flawed people to do God's work such as King David and the Apostle Paul. David had AN affair and murdered an man. Before and after the incident, he was totally faithful to God. Paul killed Christians until his CONVERSION. After, he was the most effective disciple of Jesus. Trump is a DAILY horror show!

Smyrna's wrongdoing: No rebuke was given to this church. Praise: commended for their spiritual richness despite poverty and for enduring persecution and slander. Who is holding the church accountable for supporting Donald Trump and his underqualified lying administration? Christians are supposed to ENDURE persecution, not eradicate the country of non-Christians or who they label as bad people. They complain like they have no hope in the Lord. Their hope lies in Trump now.

Pergamum"s wrongdoing: Tolerated those who held to the teaching of Balaam and the Nicolaitans, which led to moral compromise and idolatry. Christians are a new creature in Christ. They do not do what the world does. They are called to separate themselves from the world, not deport people in a cruel way and terrorized cities trying to find people in the country illegally. There is a Scripture about the foreigner.

The Bible commands the entertainment of foreigners, emphasizing that thishospitality is the tenet of faith rooted in the Isrealite's own experience as foreigners in Egypt. That is not the example of Isreal given by American preachers on TBN. Key passages like Leviticus 19:33-34 and Deuteronomy 10:19 instruct believers to love and treat the foreigner as themselves. New Testament passages, such as Hebrews 13:2 and the parable of the sheep and goats in Matthew 25, reinforce this by urging the practice of hospitality and linking kindness to strangers with service to God.   

Thyatira's wrongdoing: Tolerated "Jezebel," a false prophet who misled people into sexual immorality and idolatry. Praise: praised for their love, faith, service, and patient endurance. Pastors are standing in pulpits on Sunday's promoting Republican ideology, leading people to the Republican party instead of God. Their ideology does not line up with the Bible no matter how they spin it. Even if it does, it's not for the pulpit. Leading people in a political way, where their salvation is put in question if they don't go along with "Cleaning up America" for God. No Christian has been told that. They are to count themselves BLEESED if persecuted for Jesus name. Persecution is too close to living like MINORITIES for them. They say they are targeted and by Democrats and they are FIGHTING back. Forget the turn the other cheek that Jesus taught. They are fed up and not going to take it anymore just like the disciple Judas who demanded government reform. How'd that work out?

Sardis's wrongdoing: Spiritually dead, with only a few who were awake and alive in faith. To demonstrate faith in God, Christians shouldn't be getting rid of the "Deep State," so their lives will be better. This shows they will fix things along with the help of Donald Trump for Christians. No longer are they depending on God. Trump is the new God for many. They know it because they must lie no matter how foolish they look to support THEIR selected elected God.

Philadelphia Wrongdoing: No rebuke was given to this church. Praise: praised for keeping God's word and never denying Jesus, and promised a reward for their perseverance. Notice how the church earlier is looked down upon for not rebuking itself. The church is ACCOUNTABLE for what it does. It is a entity that should always be trusted. The church supporting such right-winged extremes, and encouraging their congregation to rally behind the pain being caused by Trump is RIDICULOUS and not CHRISTIAN no matter how they spin it. Churches are teaching Republicanism instead of the Gospel to a hurting land. They are teaching REVENGE instead of love. Don't believe me. Watch TBN, especially on Sundays.

Laodicea's wrongdoing: Were "lukewarm," lacking spiritual fervor, and self-sufficient due to their wealth, which resulted in a halfway faith. Praise: none. Spiritual ferver is for Trump among Christians. Right now Donald Trump has CONTEMPT for the POOR and the CHURCH supports him. Wealth is the GAME of Trump and the Republicans. Poor people should suffer because they are LAZY in their minds. They are mad at people being poor stating they are criminals and if they can't do better they need to leave the country or die. Bible scripture such as, "If a man doesn't work, he doesn't eat" make Pastor Hagee type Christians justified in their dislike for poor people who need assistance. The CHURCH builds and feeds people in foreign lands while detesting the poor and hungry at their doorstep. No reason is acceptable for people needing help from their country. This is the blanket they sleep with at night. Their WEALTH and desire for more wealth, has HARDENED their HEARTS.

The church is the body which contains the Christians. We all are sinners. No one can point to who is heaven bound or not, because God chooses who he chooses. And Black and Brown poor people will be in heaven. Where do they think thye go when dead? Their won't be a section for the rich and one for the poor. God said store up your treasures in heaven. Trying to make heaven on Earth is just as stupid as those who loved God trying to build a tower to where he was. 

I don't know what is on the minds of today's Christian. I know there is White fright of being a minority and having to live like minorities have done for years. They have gone back to the SUPERIORITY of Whites which is NOT Christian. And yes, they are asked to PERSEVERE through difficult times in a sinful world. There has never been a mandate to CHANGE the world. The commission is to share the Gospel, not Right wing ideation.

If I were these people sitting in church being led by such a pastor, minister, preacher, I wouldn't be clapping at their CRUEL jokes. In seminary, I noticed the cruel humor of many of the pastors getting their Master Degree. At the time Rush Limbaugh, the street drug addict was envogue. They would laugh at his mean-spirited jokes about Democrats and debasing people in the Democratic party. I listened to him too to the shock of many. My listening to Rush, was to confirm the ugly hearts of my fellow Seminarians. At seminary they asked enrollees not to watch TBN or mainstream media. Yeah. Listen and feed yourself with name-calling and cruel dry humor jokes, which the Right has happily adopted on Twitter. They only trust news that ridicule people nonstop and then point to MSNBC who has accredited journalist not opinion mongers. Opinions are facts on Fox News and TRUTH is FAKE news and attacks on main-stream media is encouraged. They turn every serious concern into a cruel dry joke that only they laugh at with their Christian hearts.

The Church and Christians are giving Christianity a black eye turning hundreds away daily with their laughing at human tragedy ways. Fox News feeds a steady diet of hate even though they were successfully sued for lible and slander, lying knowingly, even though peers asked them to stop. Did Fox lose viewership? No! Because who else will keep them fired up with hate, fear, demeaning talking points and lies about their opposition. With baited breath, they sue people without credible cause. If one person refuses to do as Trump want, they are fired. Men are NO LONGER men when dealing with Trump and they worry about the trans community. He emasculates them and abandons them. Sorry, he PARDONS criminals for LOYALTY. Christians love that too.

I ask all Christians to examine your heart. Pretend you are standing in JUDGEMENT before God. Explain to him why the Republicans are Christians and the Democrats are sinners to God. Tell Him how you took matters in your own hands supporting Trump and ICE and MAKING lazy people work and illegal aliens deported in a humiliating and embarrising way for fun. Tearing families apart. Not following the law of the land. The Bible said, Jesus gave Ceaser what was due Ceaser. Jesus didn't break laws and lie as he demonstrated how to live a holy life on Earth. HE STOOD WITH THE POOR.

I rebuke the churches. I say that mandatory legislated Christianity is not GODLY and you know it. You no longer evangilize to those needing salvation, you evangelize more for soldiers into the Army of Trump preying on the vulnerable saying how the CHURCH is going to straighten out America with the help of Trump not God.

The Republicans are against anything labeled 'woke' which they label everything these days. The Christian Republicans on social media are NASTY and RACIST proclaiming God and how superior they are to others. Yes, they say a country with Black people should not be taken seriously. I ask practicing Christians, who have not forgot their first love to persevere knowing there is damage being done to our faith. Only our Christian example, exampled by Jesus, will save Christianity. Speak up about the abuse of the church that is occuring now being led by Right-Wing Republicans instead of God-fearing Christians. 

You know God when you see him. You know people by their fruit. But you are never called to CRUELTY and RACISM. There is no excuse. I don't care who all you name as CRIMINALS. You have been warned by the ONE book of the Bible that says not to add or remove a word. In Revelation 22:18 this verse offers a stern warning not to add to the words of Revelation; the next verse also condemns those who would attempt to censor it. Adding to the book of Revelation brings God's judgment: plagues will fall on the one who adds to Revelation. The Church is an ARM of Trump's using the SAME buzz words given to the Republican party on FOX NEWS each morning with smiles and jokes. America is not laughing at how the Church USES God.

It's time to call out the Church, especially Evangelicals for their actions on the public stage. Spreading the Gospel has become SECOND to spreading Donald Trump. SHAME! I know what my eyes SEE and my ears HEAR.

Donald Trump Our Savior?

After watching a portion of an ID crime series, The Curious Case of the Doomsday Cult, I began to wonder how people can become deceived by false interpretation of the Bible or leaders. How can people who are seeking God's word, knowledge, and truth, get the Bible twisted in so many crazy and even evil ways? I mean, shouldn't there be some kind of built in protection ensuring true understanding of God's word for those trying to learn about and worship God? 

It is a scary thought knowing there is a possibility someone dedicated to God and Scripture can become a danger to others through a false understanding or interpretation of the Bible. In the series I was watching, preacher Sheryl Ruthven, a self-proclaimed prophet, beguiles her followers into subservience and uses them to settle personal scores. As her beliefs grow increasingly bizarre, she demands her congregation adopt cats, believing the animals’ souls will save them in the impending apocalypse. Her manipulation drives followers into intense isolation, financial ruin, and bizarre rituals, tearing families apart and exploiting loyalty – all under the promise of salvation. Three of the most infamous American cult leaders of the twentieth century were Charles Manson, Jim Jones, and David Koresh. They used the Bible in a perverted way.

In the same vein, I wonder how Christians can view Donald Trump as some kind of SAVIOR? They use the Bible and prominent characters from the Bible who did great things for the Lord and who were also FLAWED like Donald Trump to uphold Trump's questionable behavior and character. This uplifting of a man who to many, is the opposite of how a Christian is to behave, leave many onlookers scratching their heads at the Christian embrace and support of Donald Trump. They wonder is the Christian community reading and understanding their Bible?

Last year, on the Christian show FlashPoint, TV evangelist Hank Kunneman described “a battle between good and evil”, adding: “There's something on President Trump that the enemy fears: it's called the anointing.” Reverend Franklin Graham is one of America’s best-known evangelists and the son of Billy Graham, arguably its most famous preacher. He is one of the Trump believers, convinced there is no doubt that the president-elect was chosen for this mission by God. I ask what mission? Can I see the mission statement? Does the God given mission of Trump include Elon Musk firing federal employees? 

According to the PRRI’s survey (Public Religion Research Institute), of 5,027 adults, white evangelical Protestant voters were the strongest backers of Trump over Harris by 72% to 13%. White Catholic voters also backed Trump, with 55% supporting him and 34% aligned with Harris. White “mainline” non-evangelical Protestants showed a similar split. The results from Michigan showed a clear lurch towards the Republican Party by Muslim voters in the state. Analysis also shows that more Latino Catholics voted for Trump than expected, when previously they have tended to lean Democrat. Will there be rending of clothes and gnashing of teeth of Christians due to their choice?

How can there be one sector of Bible readers believing one thing when it comes to political leanings and another section believing something different even though they both claim to be Christian and use biblical scripture to support their beliefs? Believe it or not, both are truly people seeking to be good Christians faithful in prayer, worship and studying of the Scriptures. How could any of them go off the rails?

During my study of the book of Romans in the Bible I stumbled upon the answer and it is the law of sin. Have you heard of such a law before? It is explained in depth in Romans 7.

Paul, the author of Romans, is saying the Law given to Moses by God that all believers of God had to follow, made the person aware of sin. The Law outlined everything that was bad or evil in God's eyesight and should not be done. Now a person could IDENTIFY sin clearly. It was a SIN because it was NAMED a sin. 

The LAW OF SIN says SIN seizes the opportunity of you becoming aware of what is defined as a sin to produce in the person a DESIRE to do the sin (Romans 7:8). Knowledge of SOMETHING makes you want to do THAT something. Christians have been using this rationale to keep sex education out of schools. If children learn about it, then they will want to do it.  Even knowing all of Trump's lawsuits and felonies, people still voted for him excusing his crimes. One might say, they want to do the same things. They want to be LIKE Trump. UNLEASHED and UNTOUCHABLE. Bulldozing those who dare to make a negative comment. Trump exhibits a long list of vices, sins if you will, defined. Do people desire the same (misogyny, racism, sexual abuse, bullying, lawlessness, compulsive lying, greed, vengeance, calls to violence, threats, boastfulness). All of these adjectives, nouns, and verbs have been attributed to Donald Trump and people still say, "He's, our man."

Romans 7:11 goes on to say that sin DECEIVES the person aware of sin. Paul said then you find the law of sin at work, "When I want to do good, evil is right there with me (Romans 7:21)." It is through Jesus who cleanses a person from their SIN nature that they no longer operate in the law of sin, "when they want to do good, they do evil (Romans 7:24-25)." Accepting Jesus into your life releases the believer from being a slave to sin and allows for the believer to be a slave of God. So, a person can be free from the deceit of sin. But you must be all in for God. Why do I say this? Read on.

The Bible warns that out flesh will always want things that are not good for us. The Bible verse 1 Corinthians 15:31 says, "I die daily". The phrase "die to the flesh" appears in other Bible passages, such as Romans 8:13, Colossians 3:5, and Galatians 5:16. The phrase "die to the flesh" means to deny the selfish desires of the flesh and instead follow the leading of the Spirit. In my opinion, it is to daily self-check, constant monitoring of the desires the flesh can have that keeps misinterpretation of Scripture at bay because the Christian is to want no more or no less than what God wants.

Most misinterpretation of Scripture just comes from lack of studying. Misuse of Scripture happens when people are trying to live as Christians under the Law of Moses (Old Testament) and the New Covenant of Christ (New Testament) at the SAME time. But most often, people misinterpret, misuse, and abuse the Bible due to personal agendas that have more to do with fleshly desires. Religion has always been used as a shield to for evil.

Right now, it seems people are just wanting to be the one who WINS. The Right want to beat the Left and vice versa. MAGA want to beat the Liberals. It is like my grandma used to say, "You're cutting your nose off to spite your face." This RIGHT-FIGHTING is causing all kind of self-harm. First of all, the Christians are one body. Division harms the whole. The Right and Left are all Americans. Division harms the whole. This is the FLESH or SIN becoming the driver, making an opening for DECEPTION on a massive and grand scale.

With most religious leaders gone wrong, there is a GREIVANCE. A primary grievance of religious cult leaders is often the perception of unfair scrutiny and persecution from society, including law enforcement and the media, which they feel unfairly targets their beliefs and practices, often leading to restrictions on their ability to freely exercise their religion, even when not engaging in illegal activities.

I'm not saying people who support Donald Trump are part of a cult. But they have been likened to a cult. If at any time I am involved in something, and the word cult comes up in any way around it - I'm probably going to ease back off it. Because people in a cult NEVER BELIEVE they are in a cult!!!

Individuals define themselves in part by the beliefs they hold and the faiths they share with others and sometimes people CREATE that body of same believers. The power of the Trump Cult (media and others have labeled) should not be underestimated. It is supported by moment by moment contact with other like-minded people. It is fed by these people keeping their faith alive through the wonders of the internet. Social media (Especially X now) have been called an ‘echo chamber’ playing back what any person involved has expressed themselves. But it goes a step further because those repeating the beliefs are regarded as being ‘just like me.’ That reciprocity is one of the key features that makes persuasions authoritative.  An aspect well understood by scammers.

I have been writing that I believe Evangelicals are getting it wrong by supporting Donald Trump. From their pulpits on Sunday mornings, they continue to bring up a Bible verse supporting why they support him as a rescuer from the evils of Democrats/Liberals. Pastors say it is a battle for the family, children, country which we all care deeply about. All I can say is time will tell. But one thing is for sure, a person can be seeking the Lord and striving to do their best to serve Him and still get the Scriptures twisted and lead others astray.

No More Thought and Prayers for Mass Shootings Christians!

How much longer will thoughts and prayers be offered when there is a MASS SHOOTING? If we are a Christian nation as many suggest, is it biblical to JUST offer thoughts and prayers for families who have been victimized by mass shootings who are asking for HELP? I say NO!

There was another mass shooting in Birmingham, Alabama, September 21, 2024, with 21 people injured and four dead. Mass shootings have become so common, we no longer shake our heads about it. Social media does become flooded with when will America do something about weapons, and I have the right to own guns. But no solution is ever reached to stop the death and suffering of people. And of course, there are thoughts and prayers offered.

In the Christian Bible in the book of James 2:14-16, "What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such a faith SAVE him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I WISH you well; keep warm and well fed, "but does nothing about his PHYSICAL NEEDS, what good is it?

Many people believe they are doing God's will by PRAYING for people to be well or to have their needs met. Of course, praying for one another is biblical. But we DEMONSTRATE Christ to the world by our ACTIONS. When there is a person or a people CRYING out for help, the Christian must go BEYOND prayers.

At least 131 people have died this year in those mass shootings, which are defined as incidents in which four or more people die within a 24-hour period, not including the killer — the same definition used by the FBI. Last year ended with 217 deaths from 42 mass killings in the U.S., making 2023 one of the deadliest years on record. Who is NOT aware of the suffering?

Gun control is always presented as a Second Amendment right. The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution states that "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed". The amendment was ratified to ensure that citizens would still have the right to own weapons, even though the federal government would have the power to create a standing army and navy. Our forefathers made sure we were allowed to protect ourselves as citizens.

But what is a nation to do when what was meant to be a right for self-protection has become what the nation needs to be protected from? This may be where the citizens who also hold to the fact that our nation was founded under the guidance of religion, show their faith. The citizens, actively living their faith will balance laws which have gotten out of control.

The word INFRINGE in the Second Amendment means to actively break the terms of (a law, agreement, etc.). And gun owners will say the government cannot TAKE away their guns. But if a Christian knows his brothers and sisters are in NEED of help to try to stop the pain of mass shootings by semi-automatic rifles, there should be a WILLINGNESS to help instead of offering thoughts and prayers and walk away from their desperate need. There should not be a need for anyone to BREAK or infringe on the right to own weapons when the Christian willingly says I want to help my brothers and sisters in this area.

Christian gunowners who turn their back on the need for gun control which is killing our children and then offer up prayers for the safety of children in school, are not demonstrating their faith in God. James goes on to say in 2:17-18, "In the same way, faith by ITSELF, if not accompanied by ACTION, is DEAD. But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." SHOW me FAITH without DEEDS, and I will show YOU my faith by WHAT I DO."

Is the Christian by refusing to allow gun control to help others demonstrating their faith for THEIR security and life is in THEIR own hands and dependent on owning weapons? Where does God figure into their lives? Those who do not practice Christianity, or the WORLD, as Christians refer to them, put their trust in THEMSRLVES or others. The Christian's faith is in God. I know your response to this statement is God gave me the good sense to protect myself. Yes, God did. And surely, he gave you the good sense to help others in need through love and compassion.

We can read just offering thoughts and prayers is not a biblical stance for the Christian. John 17:14, Jesus prays to the Father, saying, "I have given them your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world". Some say that this verse means Christians should be "in the world but not of the world", and that this means not following the world's values, beliefs, and actions. Instead, Christians should follow Christ's word, represent Christ's kingdom, and show the Father's love and kindness. Continuing to stand by something so destructive as allowing assault rifles to be in the hands of any and everybody killing people in large numbers, and just think of self is not biblical. It's not Christian.

Christians choose soap box SINS to rail against while not living out the Word of God. Christians try to have things both ways and every way. It is NOT possible if you are living as the Bible which instructs Christians how to live daily. Christians are to see differently and behave differently. They are to be Christlike and that is demonstrated through their ACTIONS. Many people BELIEVE just because they advocate for Christianity, proclaim Christianity, and talk about Christianity they are GOOD Christians. Once again James says in 2:19, "You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the DEMONS believe that - and shudder."

Don't get me wrong. this isn't an attack on Christians. It is just one Christian saying to another, how are we loving and caring for our brothers and sister and even enemies. In the Bible, Luke 6:32 says, "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them". This verse is part of a passage that continues, "But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful." People have chosen sides about owning certain guns, one being good and the other evil. Christians have lost their FOCUS on their Christian walk by taking sides on material things.

Christianity goes far beyond THOUGHTS and PRAYERS. It must be demonstrated by actions through faith. 1 Corinthians 13:13, "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is LOVE. Does a Christian demonstrate the three when they turn their back on the need and loud request of people in large numbers to try to ensure the safety of their children as they attend school? If the answer is gun control, isn't that a simple request when your faith and hope is in God? Is this an opportunity for those who follow the Christian religion to stand and say I am not like the world putting my faith in worldly things to care and protect me? Is this an OPPORTUNITY to point others to live trusting God?

Living as a Christian is not a solo ENDEAVOR. Christians walk daily with the trinity of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, each encompassing LOVE. Our FAITH must be shown in our ACTIONS. Thoughts and prayers are SOLO actions. Turning your back is an action. Addressing a need is an action. 

Christian's must make decisions daily. They must die to their flesh daily. Our flesh, which is worldly, is concerned about our OWN wants, desires, and needs. In the Bible passages in James I quoted, we are encouraged to be CONCERNED about our brothers and sisters. Offering them words of COMFORT is not enough when they are in DISTRESS. 

WHEN WILL A CHRISTIAN nation realize thoughts and prayers are not enough? Even the Good Samaritan came to the aid of his enemy, Luke 10:25-37, when the religious men passed the man in need by. The passage said the Samaritan had COMPASSION for the man.

Thought and prayers regarding mass shootings allows the Christian to DO nothing. It justifies turning the back on a painful need. WHY pass up an opportunity to demonstrate FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE? Talking Godly is much easier than living Godly.

2. Pulse, Orlando, Fla., June 2016: 49 killed and 53 injured.
3. Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Va., April 2007: 32 killed and 17 injured on campus.
4. Sandy Hook Elementary School, Newtown, Conn., December 2012: 26 killed.
5. First Baptist Church, Sutherland Springs, Texas, November 2017: 26 killed and 20 injured.
6. Luby's Cafeteria, Killeen, Texas, October 1991: 23 killed.
7. Walmart, El Paso, Texas, August 3, 2019: 23 killed, 26 injured.
