Holidays Cancelled Due To Trump PTSD

Standing at the checkout line behind a grandmother and her young grandson, I heard him ask his grandman, "Are you finished with your Christmas shopping?" The grandmother turned to him and said, "We're not doing Christmas this year," then quickly looked at the others in line behind her. I diverted my eyes because there was no reason for her to have my approval or disapproval. I know EXACTLY why she and the boy's mother had made the decision. If you think about it, you know WHY too.

The feelings I experienced hearing a little kid being told there will be no Christmas, darkened my spirit. a Kids being A kid, he held out hope and showed his grandma a little toy he really wanted. She nodded politely and changed the subject. A glimpse of pain registered on her face momentarily. She took a breath, gathered herself, checked out and exited.

For those effected by the SNAP shutdown and just the HIGH cost of groceries, difficult decisions are being made about the holidays. For people who have FOOD SECURITY and support Donald Trump, the shutdown was just another opportunity for cruelness. SNAP receipients were publicly MOCKED and SHAMED. They were called fat, lazy, stealers, a drain on the nation, and any other things they could think of to denegrate a person for needing help to feed themselves and their family. It was a public, brutal, ABUSIVE ASSAULT.

While mocking people needing assistance with food, our president partied, golfed and threw money around to foreign governments as people were not sure about their next meal. America is a wealthy country with citizens paying taxes that are to help the country and its citizens. Overwhelmingly many people are saying poor lives don't matter. Poor people have become reviled and seen as the OTHER.

When trauma, and not knowing if you will be able to eat IS a trauma, there can be long reaching consequenses such as PTSD. You remember feelings, smells, words, actions of a traumatic experience whether you want to or not called FLASHBACKS. Hunger is traumatic by itself without being denegrated for being hungry.

PTSD, or post-traumatic stress disorder, is a mental health condition that can develop after a person experiences or witnesses a traumatic event, such as a car accident, natural disaster, or assault. Symptoms include re-experiencing the trauma through flashbacks or nightmares, avoiding reminders of the event, and feeling on guard or easily startled. Treatment options like psychotherapy and medication are available and can help manage the symptoms, which include negative changes in mood, difficulty sleeping, and trouble concentrating.

Can you imagine, if people who WERE affected by the SNAP stoppage did have enough money for Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, sitting around the table having flashbacks of not being able to buy food. How is their self-esteem after living through food insecurity? Do they think about what if this happens again and they're unable to buy regular groceries AGAIN? HAVE THEIR MENTAL HEALTH BEEN AFFECTED?

People in favor of the cuts were like, "just get a job" when many recipients of SNAP benefits are WORKING Americans, elderly, children and the disabled. Minimum wage is a struggle income and jobs for college educated people barely pay more. Ask recent college graduates and they will tell you they can't EVEN find a job with a degree. Many American homes are filled with parents, adult children and elderly parents. Many grandparents are raising grandchilren on their own. 

The HAPPY season of holidays is suppose to be joyful. But Donald Trump has turned the season into flashbacks of trauma. Republican Christians fight so hard for people to say MERRY CHRISTMAS because of Jesus while showing no reverence to Jesus and how he cared more about the POOR than the WEALTHY. One of the three times Jesus became angry was when the poor was being taken advantage of.

Jesus expressed anger at least three times in the Bible: he was angry when merchants commercialized the temple, "My house will be called a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of robbers" (Matthew 21:12-16). He was angry that the temple had become a place of commerce rather than worship. When people lacked compassion for a man with a withered hand, and when the Pharisees stubbonly refused to believe his teachings. His anger was described as righteous indignation at the hardness of heart or the desecration of his Father's house, not as a sinful human anger.

PTSD is not just happening to those whose SNAP benefits were cut. Americans wake every morning in FEAR of what cruel abusive thing Trump will do next. The news has become a source of trauma. No matter how hard you try, you can't escape Trump's antics. In some way or form he has hurt an American citizen. Even though airports are back at full operation, people are not going to fly. Trump's indiscrimnate FIRING of COMPETENT government employees and whoever else he wants to fire, has caused people not to trust flying anymore. Those who do fly are filled with anxiety questioning their decision.

The damage Trump's administration is inflicting will be felt for years. Even if people aren't experiencing TRUMP PTSD now, it can show up years later. Trump is an ABUSIVE president and have supporters who enjoy the pain he inflicts. This may be the most traumatizing of all. The realization of how many OTHER cruel people exist in America is SHOCKING to the system! This will be the hardest phychological healing for many. 

PTSD can be helped with therapy and medication, but many do not know they are suffering from it. Having a family member at holiday meals who RAVES about how wonderful Trump is can send someone into a rage. Pushing those feelings down, trying to get along, adds to the anxiety and stress caused by Trump.

Trump is a grifter and a ROBBER. He robs people of their dignity, humanity. This is not TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME. This is something else, TRUMP PTSD. He is robbing people of their joy and SECURITY in so many areas and ways as he enjoys his life without threat or fear. We are experiencing trauma from his actions and behaviors daily. If you do a self-check, you probably are experiencing anxiety. Every day people are wondering, "How was he even elected?" Then we have to face the fact we live among the cruelest of people who continue to support him. Feelongs of helplessness and hopelessness abound. Our children are experiencing the same emotions as the adults. This is their world too. And for parents and grandparents, their hearts break for the little ones.

No, there is no need for explainations why the holidays have been canceled. People are preparing for the worst they know is YET to come. But how do you prepare for blatent abuse of power? You can't and that is TRAUMATIC.

The COUP Has Begun

If you are afraid to speak your mind in PUBLIC but go to town on SOCIAL MEDIA with fake names and weird profile picks to hide your identity (do what youu must) telling off Donald Trump and MAGA, then you know, your freedom is already eroding.

If you are AFRAID to post opposition to this administration on social media for FEAR of being DOXED or cursed out, threatened, or targeted for voicing your views on current affairs, then your freedom IS eroded. 

If you're afraid to join a protest or stand up in any other way to laws and policies that are harmful to you and your family members, then you have already been COUP-ED.

What exactly is a COUP? A coup d'état (/ˌkuːdeɪˈtɑː/; French: [ku deta]; lit. 'stroke of state'), or simply a coup, is typically an illegal and overt attempt by a military organization or other government elites to unseat an incumbent person or leadership. This is our president, Donald Trump and his loyal supporters.

Social media went crazy when it was floated Trump WILL be seeking a third term in office EVEN though the Constitution does not allow it. Everyone JUMPED up saying he can't do that! Our Constitution doesn't allow it! Then they SIT DOWN and shut up waiting for the next outrage of Trump's. There are hundreds of things Donald Trump has done WITHOUT consequence (other than Dems whining) and continues to do.

He has demonstrated his willingness and ability to amass an angry violent mob to attack our Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021 in an effort to deligitimize Joe Biden's presidential win. That COULD have been a coup because storming the capitol at the REQUEST DIRECTION of a single man HAPPENED. It was TREASON. His consequence for encouraging that mob was another presidential term and a full pardon of the January 6th criminals. It was a great trial run and NOW they are prepared to do it bigger and better. You can hear the BRAGGING and CONFIDENCE in their voices.

Criminals are his friends. Hate groups are his friends. Anyone WILLING to do RUTHLESS things for him are his friends. He has direct contact with the hate group like the The Proud Boys who he has instructed to stand down and stand by. Stand by for what? For him to deploy them against American citizens and he is manning outside manpower to assist him as needed in any way he ASKS.

The Proud Boys are a far-right, all-male extremist organization known for their use of violence, misogynistic, and anti-immigrant rhetoric. The group is officially designated as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and a terrorist entity in Canada. The group describes its members as "Western chauvinists who refuse to apologize for creating the modern world," a term critics argue is a code word for white supremacist and anti-multicultural beliefs.

He has placed HIS PEOPLE IN POSITIONS OF POWER LOCALLY IN CITIES AND STATES TO DO HIS BIDDING. We are talking every area of life where a law, policy, or decision can be affected from the SUPREME COURT to elementary schools to our CDC. He has COMPLETE control over what we put in our MOUTH, our BODY, and our MIND. He owns news outlets and dictates the airwaves. He threatens journalists, newspaper companies and continually rails against mainstream media. There is no part of our daily where he has not taken control. 

The military has pretty much been told to not ask questions and just do what they are told. An intimidation tactic that has many shaking in their boots and HIDING indoors. He is TERRORIZING America daily with lethality and GLEE making racist and vile videos as he continues to hem in Americans under his CONTROL and THUMB while we COMPLAIN.

If you are afraid of what your PRESIDENT, CROONIES, SUPPORTER, ADMINISTRATION, REPUBLICANS, EVANGELICAL, AND MAGA will do next each day you rise or are doing now, then you know you are already in a coup. You will have to PRETEND not to know but you won't be believed.

YOU ARE NO LONGER FREE. We are no longer free. We know we will be harmed and the country will be harmed by the Right and their policies and laws. We KNOW it and they will not receive punishment for their treatment of those who get in the Republican's way and if they do, there is a pardon waiting to erase their crime along with the HECKLING laughter the Right does. We are the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and yet Trump says he has to WITHHOLD funds from Blue states. No one is safe from his insanity which IS a mental illness and beyond.

If you are waiting for things to get worse, you will not be eating popcorn watching it comfortably from your living room. As you can see with the government shutdown, your food can be TAKEN in a flash without reason or warning. White priveledge make some people feel safe from an authoritarian leader. They do not know, they will never be a part of the ELITE. They will never dance in Trump's new ballroom or use his marbled Lincoln Bathroom. Your wealth will all belong to him. You are deipensable.

Look around you. People fearful. They are hiding and shrinking back into the shadows in hopes Trump's revenge tour and pettiness won't FIND them. There is NO where to HIDE people! You are going to have to FIGHT for your freedom and too many people have their heads stuck in the sand. Polite society just wants to cotinue to say, "Shame, shame shame," and go about their lives. It will be too late when they realize they are no more than a peasant to Trump. America HAD to answer THIS call we are desparately trying to avoid, a third war on American soil. NO ONE WANTS WAR. As people on government assistance wondered if they were going to be able to eat November, Trump was at a lavish Halloween party living it up. We ALL can starve as far as he is concerned. He has taken health care decisions from women regarding their body and he will do so for ALL Americans. The government has been shut down 31 days as Republicans say they will not meet unless illegal immigrants are cut off of Medicaid. Yeah. Right. He will cut off more than just the Brown people.

People fail to believe how a CORRUPT mind and heart, like the Christian Bible speaks about, is a deadly weapon of evil. If allowed to grow, it will become a MONSTER swallowing everything in its path. Trump, Republicans, and the Evangelical Church is THAT monster. Remember, Napoleon Bonapart crowned his own self EMPOROR.

The Trump machine pretty much TELLS us daily of how they are going to HARM us to cheers of MAGA on the Right. People continue to ask how can people making less that 50,000 dollars a year fight so ferociously for multi-billionaires as he is making them cry at every turn. They can because he has their HATE directed, targeted at MINORITIES instead of his RAPING OF AMERICA.

No doubt about it, if no one has told you this, remember I did. Let your level of FEAR be your guide when answering the question, "Has a coup begun?" Only those TRICKED into believing they are a part of the GOOD OLD BOYS CLUB  with lively locker room talk with their Christian mouths would think there's nothing to see here. 

My Tumor Reminds Me Of Donald Trump

Sitting in the exam room after receiving radioactive dye for my PET scan to look for a tumor or even worse, most would be anxious about pending test results. When met with the unknown we tend to think the worst will happen. Much like an illness which may threaten your health, Donald Trump has many feeling the same type of anxiety.

Many won't admit to the negative thoughts circulating in their head when a doctor uses the words 'tumor' or 'cancer.' I know I had a million thoughts going through my mind in the first minutes of receiving the news. FIGHTING was not my first thought. No. All of my fears, those I kinds I knew I had and those that came out of the blue, circulated in my head.

Then, after a few minutes there was an empty feeling of nothing. I guess this is the shock stage. My mind must have overloaded with the numerous scenarios filled with negativity like, what about my children and how long do I have. There was silence in my head, in the core of my being. Many have gone through these same emotions on the night Donald Trump won his second presidential election.

Those who had worked tirelessly to warn citizens of America that Trump is unfit to be president due to his greed, immorality, childishness, pettiness, and lack of intelligence, were disappointed with the election results knowing what was coming in the future.

The bad, life altering news that Trump won a second presidency had the worst imaginable scenarios for his term, which are even worse in reality. If voters were like me, it took three months for the empty hollow feeling of shock to subside. What was it replaced with?

After leaving the doctor's office with my new, not yet verified diagnosis of a tumor, I wanted information. I wanted to know everything about my possible condition. I turned to facts. I couldn't allow myself to just GUESS what may be occurring in my body. I had to have FACTS. After Trump's win, facts became the enemy of his administration. Truth is being hidden or out and out lied about. I can't imagine if my access to information about tumor were restricted how much mor anxious would I have become. Thank goodness it wasn't.

Having facts matter when there is something that is causing confusion, chaos, fear, or uncertainty in your life. Truth is a wonderful tool to alleviate fear. The Trump administration does not want to get rid of fear and anxiety in Americans. It's their best asset in getting voters to support them. The worse scenarios play out on Fox News nightly warning MAGA and Christians that their lives are in danger. 

After taking more tests, I had to sit and wait for over 30 days for what I hope today is the last BIG test to finding a true diagnosis to my health problems. While I waited there were pills, numerous emergency room trips, more sickness, restrictions on my daily life, change after change of medications and depression from being so sickly. I lost a tremendous amount of muscle mass and look weak. The first 100 days of Trump's presidency was one emergency or crazy thing after the next. The American people became tired of seeing what he was doing and is still doing to our country. Like cancer or a tumor, is the disease of the Trump administration. 

Even if we are not doctors, common sense dictacts for the removal of cancerous cell and tumors as soon as poosivle. Cancer is that aggressive. It doesn't give you time to adjust, once it begins, it begins. The same with Donald Trump. America knew he was cancerous his first term, and what happened? First going to a doctor to DIAGNOSE the problem is the hardest step for many. Family members know the reluctant patient had to be talked into going to the doctor let alone listening to and believing the diagnosis. 

I am calling out DOCTORS for watching this kind of sickness and abuse when they ARE advocates for the sick. If you are not going to do what your lisense says, Doctors should be turned in for neglect. Come on the man is mentally unfit as a country of educated doctors of America don't call for and objective assesment of the president. Get the signitures going Mental Health doctor. The people are afraid each day what he will do. There MUST be some grown people in our country INSTEAD of just complainers. How many peices of sugned paper helps a person in this condition. The mentally ill SUFFER dealing with it. Like I said Ause. No protest neede. We just need people willing to put feet to their mouthed. He is unstable and ABUSING AMERICA. Call a doctor.

Trump is unwilling to get the professional help he needs. Mental illness is a blatant issue but, there are those who not concerned about his healt or him. I've begun to call it #ElderAbuse and #SeniorCitizenAbuse. How can people who care about you watch you humiliate your self on the world stage. Ther is no PRETENDING, now that he can't stay awake ten minites if he isn't engaged in nastiness.

His cabinet let's him nape and wake him up when it's time to entertain the masses with stupidity, plum garbage and lies out of his my. I'm no therapist but I know when I see delusions of granduer in form of my eyes. Trump elevates himself above every human. He only comes down to see what you have, take it from you, and have the best of your stuff he's stolen from people and the REPUBLICANS , Trump is gloating by himself, that's his reward for doing nothing. He get's to PLAY while Americans are hungry and sick. They do the business part and then turn it over to the CLOWN and he never disappoints. I hate that they go on every show at night trying to tell Americans, "This is what Trump meant or actually said. 

I'm not so much sickened by REPUBLICAN'S racism, I'm sicked because some LOW PEOPLE believe they are SUPERIOR in any way. They have to break the law in EVERYTHING they touch because they are just LAZY FRAT  boys hanging out thinking about what other mischeif and harm they can do. I have NEVER seen such a GIGGLY bunch of men than I have in this FAKE administration. That Jordan dude laughed all the way through the PAM BUNDI show.

Everyone knows it is out of WEAKNESS that someone stoops to CRIME to say they are SUPERIOR than them. It's EVIDENT superiority is n o where near this Trump bunch and they don't don't care. These are parents shutting down EDUCATION in America. The only way to be superior is to take away facts and education. Dumb beyond belief.

I guess that is what you call a RANT. TYhank you for your patience. Yeah, so I still don't know what IS causing my sickness but it's not a tumor. Maybe, it's something like a tumor.

 

HALLOWEEN: We are TRICKED not TREATED

I love fall. I love the colors of fall and I LOVE Halloween. I know many Christians frown on Halloween for it being a pagan holiday. Hell, even our days and months are named after gods and goddesses and our capital, D.C, has large statues of naked gods and goddesses and kids playing dressup and eating candy is of the DEVIL. Let's not get into Easter and Christmas being on pagan celebration days. TRICK.

As my favorite holiday approaches, my heart aches for the children unable to participate in the fun due to financial concerns. Yes, even candy has succomb to INFLATION. Overall, candy is 10.8% more expensive this Halloween season than last year, according to an analysis of NielsenIQ data conducted by progressive think tank Groundwork Collaborative and shared first with CNN. That’s nearly quadruple the overall rate of inflation. In 2024, Halloween candy prices only rose 2.1%, the analysis found.The price of chewing gum and candy has risen 39% since February 2020, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Last year, 52% of the total volume of Halloween candy sold in the U.S. was made of chocolate, according to Dan Sadler, a principal for client insights at the market research company Circana. But in the 12 weeks ending Oct. 5, chocolate accounted for 44% of the Halloween candy sold in the U.S.

Campaigning for office a year ago, standing in front of a table loaded up with bags of flour, cartons of eggs and gallons of milk, President Donald Trump told voters, “When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on Day One.” The overall cost of food at home has ticked up between 0.2% and 0.4% almost every month since January, according to BLS tracking. One exception was in April 2025, when prices went down 0.1% from the month before. All those tiny increases have added up to a 3% increase in food prices year-over-year. TRICK.

Rather than addressing the rising cost of living, Trump has sown chaos and pushed policies that hurt working families. His plan to shut down the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau—our only watchdog against predatory practices by big banks and corporations—will drive up costs for everyday Americans. Meanwhile, he continues to prioritize tax breaks for the wealthy while ignoring critical issues like housing, child care, healthcare and grocery prices. Parents are in food lines at food banks due to government shutdown. TRICK.

These days little thought is being given to the plight of Americans and even less thought is given to the children of America. The Trump administration is pushing for no vaccines which are critical for children, their education is being formulated by Evangelicals and higher education is discouraged, SNAP benefits for the most vulnerable children is being stopped along with vital healthcare needed for children who catch every bug, and their parents are facing financial ruin from the government shutdown. Why would anything fun like Halloween be left for them to enjoy when this administration seems to enjoy the American people suffering?

All of the happiness and joy in America is being SUCKED out by Donald Trump and his supporters. Hate and racism is a steady DRUMBEAT these days coming directly from the White House. Little ears are listening and little eyes are seeing. Are children witnessing EVIL instead of enjoying CANDY this Halloween? Children are of little concern for them because they have no money to extract from them with Trump's countless use of the White House for his personal GAIN. TREAT.

HEY! AMERICA! You're getting poorer while your president and his family are getting RICH. Trump once said children don't need alot of presents at Christmas time. Remember that? While HE gifts HIMSELF daily. TREAT.

Parents rail against the demonic customes children wear for one night while Trump has his demon custom on daily. He is a frightening monster terrorizing the United States. He is TRICKING the Right and TREATING himself to more wealth and adoration from his supporters for his cruelty to Brown and Black people (I can never say this enough).

While the church cry SINNER for those who enjoy Halloween, they HITCH their Godly wagon to a person like Trump as we ALL suffer economically. Well, not all. Those in charge of the government will have their checks and healthcare. Well, they should. They work so hard for the people! TRICK.

As the government remains shutdown and flights are cancelled and federal workers fired, Trump is building a multi-million dollar ballroom to dance at taxpayer expense. MAGA counters with, Obama built basketball court. REALLY PEOPLE! TRICK.

The only one receiving a TREAT are the rich who are getting richer during this administration. While tummies of children will be rumbling with hunger, Trump acquires more TREATS for himself as he flies around the world making deals for himself and family. The Trumps have on their costumes and candy bags in hand wherever they go. They are offering TRICKS or TREATS to leaders around the world. They PAY to PLAY with the United States and that isn't evil in any way right? TRICK.

Christians have been sounding the alarm against those who hate God. Now their MASCOT is a culmination of every sin possible and has been indited and crimally charged. His Christian followers see no SIN in him, only Democrats and Halloween loving children without a felony record. TRICK.

So, yet another big blow for children living in an evil ADULT world. Fun and joy are not for America right now. Fear and anger are ruling. It is a time to be frightened by little ghosts and gobblins. Instead we are frightened of our OWN government to the delight of the Right and Evangelicals. TREAT.

Do Republicans BAIT the Mentally Ill?

Have you noticed how Republicans pick a lie, circle it, stick to it, repeat it until it becomes the truth? It's so brazen, it is difficult to miss. It is done so often, until it is easier to pass lies off as truth. This is because there are certain people waiting to hear and be triggered by certain words.

Certain Mental Illnesses come with certain characteristics. Depression and anxiety cross lines and become a PART of several diagnosis. Paranoia and beliefs in conspiracies, fall in others. But there are mental illnesses which are characterized by a feeling of grandiosity, which is often seen as arrogance or a larger dose of self-confidence. In Mental illness, the everyday emotion is heightened or lessened in a person until it interferes with daily living. In today's ORCHESTRATED polarized climate, EMOTIONS are heightened to the point of becoming MENTAL ILLNESS.

What does a sense of grandiosity have to do with the Republican party and Donald Trump? Well, they use dog whistles to bring out the worst in people and flattery to make people believe they are better, smarter than others and the only KNOWER of TRUTH. This playbook is used daily and those who emotions are heightened, become susceptible pawns manipulated by calculated trigger words. Words the Republicans are using to describe the No King Rally scheduled for the weekend of October 19, 2025.

One leader of history had feelings of grandeur and spoke to that part of other men to enlist their help voluntarily at first, then under threat. Adolf Hitler displayed grandiosity as a central aspect of his personality, fueling his actions and worldview. This trait was so pronounced that many retrospective psychological analyses suggest he exhibited characteristics consistent with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. 

Schizophrenia, is a disorder plagued by suspicions and conspiracies. The Republican party have many prominent leaders who speak about conspiracies, and they floated and maintained the biggest conspiracy theory of all, President Biden was never a legitimate president in 2021. This continued declaration was led by Donald Trump whose words incited the Capitol Riots of January 6, 2021. 

Schizophrenia is a chronic mental health condition characterized by significant disruptions in thought processes, perceptions, emotions, and behaviors. It is typically diagnosed in late adolescence or early adulthood and is characterized by the following symptoms:

• Delusions: 

  False beliefs that persist despite evidence to the contrary. 
• Hallucinations: 

  Sensory experiences (e.g., hearing voices, seeing things) that are not real. 
• Disorganized thinking and speech: 

  Difficulty expressing thoughts clearly, making connections, or following a logical sequence. 

Many of Trump's followers will quickly tell you, Biden stole the election from Trump without any proof but plenty of anger and outrage. This is what the Republicans want, not truth.

The Republicans count on those who have difficulty controlling their emotions and political violence is excepted by their supporters. The current dog whistle, preying on the vulnerable with their description of the planned peaceful No Kings Rally on October 18, 2025. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson is leading the polarizing rhetoric aimed at a specific audience for a specific outcome.

Speaker Mike Johnson called it a “hate-America rally” that will ​​draw “the pro-Hamas wing” of the Democratic Party and “the antifa people.” House Republican Whip Tom Emmer claimed that “you’ll see the hate for America all over this thing when they show up” for the rally. Sen. Roger Marshall claimed protesters were being paid and suggested the National Guard might need to show up.

The "No Kings" march is a nationwide protest movement, organized by a coalition of progressive groups, to oppose what they describe as the authoritarian actions of President Donald Trump and his administration. The name "No Kings" is intended to convey the idea that the United States is a democracy and that the president is not above the law.

Yes. You can be assured Republicans, whenever they speak, are baiting the VULNERABLE. And I am saddened their bait is often shielded behind religion and patriotism. Psalms 10-2 and 9-10, "In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak, who are caught in the schemes he devises...He lies in wait like a lion in cover; he lies in wait to catch the helpless; he catches the helpless and drags them off in his net. His victims are crushed; they collapse; they fall under his strength".  Psalm 12 points to three brands of deception, all of which Satan uses to keep people from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ. The three varieties of deception are: Vanity, flattery, and blasphemy. The light of the Gospel is salvation through Christ and transformation of the heart. The heart should ALWAYS demonstrate love for one another. 

Christian Republicans who have taken OWNERSHIP and DISTRIBUTION of God, have RIGTEOUS ANGER in their eyes and are not going to take it anymore. Through this righteousness, everyone is getting crushed. They seem to forget, "loving those who love you is easy" is found in Luke 6:32 and Matthew 5:46. These verses, spoken by Jesus, point out that even sinners love those who love them back, suggesting that this is a basic human behavior and not something that warrants special reward. The verses then challenge believers to do more by loving their enemies and doing good to those who hate them, as explained in Luke 6:35.

Wolf In Sheep's Clothing (Donald Trump)

A question on people's mind as they watch the chaos of the current administration is, "How can evil be accepted as good by so many?" They also wonder, "How can lies be seen as truth?" When trying to answer a question we tend to dig deep and try to come up with some kind of profound answer. In reality, we can look to the simplicity of childhood to answer the seemingly unanswerable. 

A majority of people are familiar with the children's story about the Wolf in Sheep's Clothing, an Aesop's fable. In the story, a wolf disguises himself as a sheep and the shepherd kills him. The story is an example of a fable, which is a story with a hidden lesson. The idiom "wolf in sheep's clothing" is used to describe someone who seems friendly but may be harmful. In the Bible, Matthew 7:15, Jesus warns against "false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves".

The phrase "Wolf in sheep's clothing" is an idiom that refers to someone who appears friendly or harmless on the surface, but in reality, they have a sinister or malicious nature. They hide their true intent from others. With Donald Trump entering the third week of his presidency, many are coming to the conclusion that he was a wolf in sheep's clothing. But that is not true for everyone who voted for him. At a first look, Trump's proverbial "sheep's clothing" was Christianity, and he wore it amongst the Evangelicals. Those outside of the Evangelical faith seemed to notice his wolf tendencies.

Donald Trump has lived his entire life in the headlines. He has been known as a mover and shaker in the business world. There is very little about his life that has not been written about and expounded on by Trump himself in hundreds of interviews. Donald Trump loves to talk about Donald Trump. If you comb through all of the magazine and tabloid articles, you will not read about Trump as a Christian, that is, until he wanted to become president.

Donald Trump was raised in his mother's Presbyterian faith; his father was a Lutheran. He attended Sunday school and was confirmed in 1959 at First Presbyterian Church in Jamaica. He said in 2015 that he attends Marble Collegiate Church, a Reformed Christian congregation in Manhattan; the church said in a statement to CNN that he "is not an active member". He said that he was a Presbyterian and a Protestant in 2016. Trump has officially run as a candidate for president four times, in 2000, 2016, 2020, and 2024; he also unofficially campaigned in 2012 and mulled a run in 2004.

A survey during Trump's first presidency showed that 63% of Americans did not believe he was religious, despite his professed Christian affiliation, and that only 44% of Americans believed that Trump was a Christian. But according to research data on the 2024 election, Trump's victory was largely due to the Christian vote. According to exit polling data from NBC, Trump expanded his margins for Christians identifying as “Protestant or other Christian” and Catholic. Of voters identifying as “Protestant or other Christian,” 63% went for Trump and 36% went for Harris. Trump made a bigger jump with Catholic voters against Harris, who is a Baptist. Exit polling shows Catholic voters broke for Trump by 58% to 40% for Harris. 

A majority of white Christians supported Trump in 2024, just as they did in 2020. White Christians identifying as “Protestant and other Christian” went for Trump 72% to 26%; in 2020 they supported Trump by 72% to 27%. White Catholics supported the Republican ticket 61% to 35% in 2024. In 2024, white born-again and evangelical Christians made up 27% of the electorate and voted for Trump 82% to 17% for Harris. A presidential candidate, identifying as a Christian, would have a large voting base. How easy is it for someone to IDENTIFY as a Christian and BLEND in and become like a Christian?

Evangelicals say they support Trump because of his stance against abortion and Transgender Rights. They believe his political platform aligns with their Christian faith. They fully embrace Trump's slogan of Make America Great Again, a time when the family unit mattered, and society's morals were more palatable. Or at least, this is what they say publicly. But many researchers say the same thing that motivates secular people motivate religious people and that is POWER. White Evangelicals are fearful their power is slipping away. How you may ask. The answer is right before your eyes.

Public Religion Research Institute found that America is not only becoming less white, but also less Christian. As we came to the end of the 2010s, Robert P. Jones, CEO of PRRI, reported that only 42% of Americans identify as white and Christian. Such demographic shifts have produced great trepidation on the part of many white evangelicals. Trump has capitalized on white evangelicals’ fear of losing power and prominence in an increasingly diverse society.

The sheep's clothing Trump put on was NOT Christianity to win the Evangelical vote. Trump clothed himself in the skin of FEAR. He walked among them expressing the same fears the Evangelicals speak about. Let's use ABORTION as an example. The stance against abortion has more to do with halting the LOW birthrate of white babies, than the Bible. If Republicans cared about babies, they would not be slashing Medicaid many mothers and newborns rely on.

Abortion rates have been declining in the United States for decades. In 1981, the abortion rate was 29.3 per 1,000 women aged 15–44. In 2005, it was 19.4 and was at an historic low. A survey of women who obtained an abortion in the United States between June 2021 and July 2022 found that 26 percent were Hispanic, while 33% were white. This statistic shows the distribution of women in the U.S. But this will not increase the number of white babies born. If abortions across the board are illegal, then the Hispanic and Black population will also increase in births. This is significant since in 2022, 39.5% of abortions were performed on non-Hispanic Black women, compared to 31.9% for non-Hispanic White women.

Donald Trump's embrace of the Pro-Life cause is a win for Evangelicals, but their fear of being obsolete remains. So, what else allows the WOLF to walk among the SHEEP. The answer is RACISM.

On the public stage Trump has not hidden his racism towards almost every ethnic group except White people. His desire to mass deport immigrants are sweeping up people who just look Hispanic. His revocation of DEI laws closes the door to many Black people having an opportunity to have high paying jobs. Attacking DEI also affect women who work outside of the home as caregiver, something traditional Christians would like see women returned to. If White Christians don't have the NUMBER to remain relevant, then they must have the POWER at all costs, hence Donald Trump 47th president.

But you may say Trump didn't deceive them, he just gave them what they wanted. But he PRETENDED to be like them, Godly. What or who is a person willing to pretend to be Godly? What kind of person would have no FEAR misrepresenting themselves as Godly knowing it was a lie? The answer to this question is what the REST of us have to FEAR. A person who has no boundaries to what they are willing to do to achieve their OWN power is a major THREAT. I know you're saying I can't say Donald Trump is not a Christian. Are you sure about that because the Bible says differently.

"Ye shall know them by their fruit. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit" (Matthew 7:16-20). Fruits, which are a common metaphor in both the Old and New Testaments, represent the outward manifestation of a person's faith, thus their behavior and their works. Evangelicals tell us to OVERLOOK Trump's character and his offensive behavior. Not biblical at all.

Romans 16:17-19, "I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their OWN appetites. By smooth TALK and FLATTERY, they deceive the MINDS of NAIVE people. Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice because of you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.

Trump is a wolf in sheep's clothing, and I do not believe he has revealed his TRUE nature yet. We don't know who is under the sheep's skin. With the U.S. no longer siding with the UN and being the leader of the free world, Trump's deception on the American people has not been exposed yet. 

For those who did not vote for Trump, they believe they have not been deceived. They are not as shocked by Trump's actions since being in the White House. But in a sense, we were all fooled. We believed no one would DEFILE the highest office of one of the greatest countries. Yet, here we are. We let our guard down on our freedom and supremacy on the world stage. We didn't believe a WOLF would walk among us without SOMEONE protecting the sheep. We believed, at least, one of the sheep would sound the ALARM for all of the other sheep to protect themselves.

Well, we had sheep sounding the alarm, but other sheep stepped up to PROTECT the wolf. Let's look at another little story, The Scorpion and the Frog, so simple even a child can understand it. It will be my final thoughts about Donald Trump.

• The fable is about a frog who carries a scorpion across a river. The scorpion stings the frog, even though it's against the scorpion's own interests.
• The scorpion explains that he couldn't resist because it was in his nature. 
• The fable teaches us to know someone at their core and make judgments based on that. 
• It also teaches us to be cautious of those who have a history of harmful behavior, as they may be likely to repeat it.
