Mentally Speaking: President Kanye West

Motivation and Cheer

I have been posting for quite a while now and I was wondering; do the majority of my posts contain complaining? I have gone on about one subject or the other, but I would not like to be considered as a person who complains a lot. Blogs and other forms of internet media allow the everyday person to get their thoughts and opinions off of their chest. In a world of anonymity, we can feel free to say whatever we like without repercussions. I never wanted to be one who would write one thing BIG BAD AND BOLD and then the next day I want to bury my face hoping the people who read it remember I'm actually rational and professional and just was having a bad day or the rare lapse of judgement.    While pondering if I am a complainer; I began to think about the Jews Moses led out of slavery from Egypt. They complained when they were slaves and complained when they were free. Do I have the complaining spirit like those led out of bondage in the Book of Exodus? I don't want to be a complainer, but I do want to write about subjects that at times bring us down or makes us angry or sad.

Well, the next question must be asked: What kind of blogger do I want to be? I would like to be an encouraging, thought provoking, and humorous blogger. With little feedback, (I am desperate for comments about my posts) I hope I have accomplished a little of what I set out to do. I hope I have not just used this platform to grumble and moan about everything that is wrong in the world (my world). I hope I have said something that made someone say: "That was something new and different."

Anyway, I know with all of my complaining there is thankfulness. I am happy for all of you who have stopped by and checked me out. I am happy to soon have two more of my manuscripts published. I am happy that I am getting a grip on how to use all of this technology. I am just thankful for you all out there.

Let me share a favorite passage of mine from the Bible that keeps me in balance at times: "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time to war and a time for peace" Ecclesiastes 3:1-8.
So, if I have been in a time of complaining I will definitely be in a time of cheering. Whatever your complaint is today----BEWARE---- you will also have a time of cheering.

The Greatest Act of Love

MY FRIEND

I stand in Judgement now,
And feel that you are to blame somehow.
On earth I walked with you day by day,
And never did YOU point the way.
YOU knew the Lord in truth and glory,
But never did you tell ME the story.
My knowledge then was very SLIM,
YOU could have led me safe to Him.
Though we lived together on earth,
YOU never told me of the SECOND birth.
And now I stand this day condemned,
Because YOU failed to mention HIM.
YOU taught me many things, that's true,
I called YOU "friend" and trusted you.
But learn now that it's too late,
YOU could have kept me from this fate.
We walked by day and talked by night,
And yet YOU showed me not the Light.
YOU let me live, and love, and die,
YOU knew I'd never live on high.
Yes, I called you a "friend" in life,
And trusted YOU through joy and strife.
And yet on coming to the end,
I cannot, NOW, call YOU, "My Friend."

We use the word LOVE in various types of relationships. We love people, pets, even material items. We say we love people we have known for years and now with social media, we love people we have never met in person before. We can fall in love quickly and often. There are people who are love with being in love.

Do we really know the definition of love and its different forms? There are complaints daily of feelings of not receiving the love we believe we deserve from our parents, friends, or our love interest. Today I want to flip it and ask, "What kind of lover are you?" Let's begin at the beginning and define love and the different types of love as God defines it. READY?

LOVE= unselfish, benevolent, concern for others (1Corinthians 13:4-7 charity). To love God supremely and others unselfishly are the 2 most important commands of Jesus (Matthew 22:37-40). Christ's death was the supreme expression of love (John 13:1 and 15:13).

AGAPE= A Greek word for selfless love, the type of love which characterizes God. If we are made in his own image, we should have his characteristics. Agape is primarily an ACT OF THE WILL rather than the EMOTIONS (John 3:16 and Romans 5:8). Agape love is the greatest and most enduring of ALL CHRISTIAN VIRTUES (1 Corinthians 13). Agape love for others is a badge of discipleship (John 13:34-35).

Notice God says there are outward signs of His people. Is a badge an outward sign? Does it speak to the world? Are we not His disciples, His children? Police wear badges. They have to show their badge so you will know they are who they say they are. They are given the authority to use their job description. Are you flashing your badge of authority, your job description of love?

Now that we have the definition of love, we now have the knowledge of love. What we are lacking at this point is the WISDOM of love. Wisdom is when you take the KNOWLEDGE you have and use it. So now we come to the question: "What kind of lover are you?" We should love God, ourselves, and others. there is no command to leave anyone out. FORGIVENESS helps us to accomplish this.

    1. ARE YOU A STINGY LOVER? Do you designate how much you are willing to love someone? How long you are willing to love someone? Do you give yourself wholly to the love experience or are you half into it making the person work for your love? Do you pick who is or is not worthy of your love?

    2. ARE YOU A PRIDEFUL LOVER? Do you pat yourself on your own back, praising yourself for how wonderful you are at showing love to others? Do you bother to check and see with the recipient of your love if they are being loved in the way they need to be loved? Your definition of love can be totally different from someone else.

    3. ARE YOU AN ABUSIVE LOVER? Are you loving someone grudgingly? Are you giving love only when someone else is looking? Do you with-hold love to get people to behave the way you want them to? Do you neglect yourself or people closest to you, but have an abundance of love for a stranger? Do you hold grudges? Does someone have to ask or beg you for your love?

    4. ARE YOU A WISHY-WASHY LOVER? Are people afraid to approach you because they don't know what they may run into day by day or hour by hour? Are some days easier for you to show love and other days difficult? God wants consistency, not double mindedness

WE SAY WE HAVE THE LOVE OF GOD IN US BUT.....

We have children we don't minister to or make disciples of Christ equipping them to lead others by sharing the gospel. We do not lay hands on them and pray for them. We leave prayer for our children to the school and then become angry when the institution fails to pray. We try to give our children everything their hearts desire except the gift of eternal life with God.

We love our sisters, brother, parents, and yet we don't invite them to church with us or live Godly examples of joy and peace so that they can see God through us. We tell them what we don't and can't do because we are Christians, not exampling Jesus among those who needed him most.

We love ourselves, yet do not do what is in our own best interest: pray, love, spread the gospel, have faith through deeds, read the word of God, study the word of God because it is life and light, and be obedient to His will.

We say we love God. to love God is to be obedient and to be holy as He is holy.

We need to pray and ask God to bring us to this level of agape love. It may not happen overnight, but a willing heart accomplishes much through the grace of God. roman 13:8 "Owe no man anything, but to love one another; for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the Law."

WHAT KIND OF LOVER ARE YOU?

WOMANHOOD INTERVIEWS NEEDED

Hello, I'm an author who writes about women's issues with a dash of Theology (my degrees are in Theology). Your thoughts, opinions, experience will add greatly to the growth of women around the world.

Thanks for your interest in being interviewed for my blog about Womanhood in the 21st Century.

I was shocked to find there is not a recognized definition of womanhood. I began to think who are we as women and how does society view us? Are we failing to live up to the standard of being a woman? If you don't know where you're going, you're going to have a hard time getting there.

My book about manhood had a large number of articles defining what it means to be a man. They have the 3 P's = provider, protector, procreator. But it seems womanhood has never been able to be summed up in three words. Women are more complex. Your interviews will help me in defining the 21st Century woman.

As you can see, manhood is defined as a "doing" person, but women have been defined as a "being" person. If you search the word womanhood it says, "It is a state or time of being a woman. The composite of qualities thought to be appropriate to or representative of women rather than a girl, and an adult female." Then you are directed to search a definition of 'woman' or 'femininity'.

The definition for woman is the sex producing ovum and bears an offspring, a girl who has passed through puberty, adolescence, or gets her period. The definition of feminine is graceful, gentle, empathetic, humble, sensitive, passive, tender, nurturer, sweet, supportive, warm, cooperative, expressive, modest, affectionate, kind, helpful, devoted, and understanding. None of the above seems to capture womanhood in my eyes. Getting your period can't be all that defines us a woman or womanhood.

I did finally find 3 expectations of being a woman (womanhood): physical attractiveness, nurturing, and empathetic. Physical attractiveness ranked highest in this study.

To participate in this project, you simply have to answer 7 easy questions, e-mail your answers to my e-mail address: rizerfall@yahoo.com, and you will be notified when your interview will be posted so your family, friends, and thousands of people can view it. You can choose to use your real name, social media name, or anonymous. Your interview will be more helpful if you use your first name at least.

I thank you for your participation. Your interview will help young girls as they take their steps into adulthood and women navigating a world that defines femininity as a socializing ideology which means where you live, that particular society, defines and organizes material ways of life (how women are defined), particular practices related to gender, and sexual relationships. Womanhood

                                    INTERVIEW QUESTIONS

1.    At what age, if you have, believe you became a woman? Explain.

2.    Did you have a model of womanhood in life. Explain

3.    Can you describe what womanhood means personally and generally?

4,    Have family, friends, or romantic interests want you to meet traditional biblical or               stereotypical roles of women? Explain.

5.    Do you believe men want feminine girlfriends or wives? Explain.

6.    Does motherhood make you a woman? Explain.

7.    Do you consider yourself a Feminist (belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities, support women's rights and interests)? Explain.

***************include name and state/country************************

That's it. Simple and easy yet your answers will have a big impact. DON'T FORGET to e-mail your replies to rizerfall@yahoo.com. PLEASE SHARE on your social media site or groups you belong to in order to help me get the word out. Thank you once again.

***************by participating in this interview, you give me permission to post it to my blog and any potential book that may generate from your responses in the interview*****

Burning Books and Witchcraft

Pastor Greg Locke has decided to publicly burn books. Harry Potter and Twighlight was set afire. His burning of these books was done because he said such material was a threat to religious beliefs, and freedom, and belief system. Wicca is a pagan religion that practices witchcraft. So, it's one religion attacking another religion who both have the right to practice their faith in the United States.

The book burning comes after a Tennessee school board moved to ban Art Spiegelman's Pulitzer Prize-winning graphic novel Maus, which depicts Polish Jews' experience after they survived the Holocaust. Minn County School Board also banned the book for the use of the words "God damn" and naked pictures. Such acts, censorship and burning books, does little to maintain an ideology of purity which is the real goal, to keep people or children pure in an idealistic definition made up by parents or religion.

There are 4,000 recognized religions in the world. Sooner or later, unless children live in a bubble, they will find out their religion is not the only religion. If they act by example, then they will set out on a crusade to persecute other religious believers because their religion is threatening their religious beliefs, rights, and freedom. Not the way to go. Instead, stop burning books and have a teaching moment with your children in your home about what they encounter in school and the world. After all, that is part of parenting and witnessing for Christianity. So, what is the real scoop on the hocus pocus threatening Christianity? There has been incorrect teaching or no teaching at all on the subject in Christianity. The reason why will become evident as you read on.

Exodus 22:18 explains in its section of public responsibility "thou should not suffer a witch to live" The Salem Witch Trials went overboard and did not suffer any woman to live and thus we lost valuable folk cures for ailments. They completely left the biblical definition of witchcraft. People are returning to natural remedies and holistic healing practices for healing and health with success in many areas. Medicines begin from using combination of components found in nature. During the burning of the witches, those tried-and-true home cures bit the dust, or one could be seen as a witch able to cure people of sicknesses.

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 under the section of detestable practices tells us "There shall not be found among you anyone that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire (child sacrifice), or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord; and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out before thee."

Also, in the Bible the Levites, (those who performed subordinate services associated with public worship were known as Levites. In this capacity, the Levites were musicians, gate keepers, guardians, Temple officials, judges, and craftsmen), made use of the Urim and Thummim (two objects worn on the breastplate of a Jewish high priest) and various forms of sacrifice as instruments of divination (the practice of seeking knowledge of the future or the unknown by supernatural means) to determine guilt and innocence in law cases Deuteronomy 33:8-10. The silver chalice Joseph placed in his brother Benjamin's sack when he was leaving Egypt is described as being used by Joseph for divination, often taken as a reference for scrying (foretell the future using a crystal ball or other object such as a mirror) Genesis 44:2-17.  Joseph interpreted dreams that foretold the future. These people, favored by God, in essence practiced witchcraft. Why was it okay for them to do divination? Read further to find out the reason.
It is clear that witches were recognized as people not sanctioned by God. Whether they had real power or not did not matter. They were not the type of persons for God's people to hang around with. I always found the story of the Witch of Endor, in the Bible funny (1 Samuel 28:3-25). Saul himself had put a prohibition (actually expelled them from Israel) on going to fortune tellers, but when he needed a wise word, he went to a witch to help him to contact Samuel, a prophet, who was dead. He needed Samuel's counsel in a matter bothering him. The Philistine Army had set up against Saul and he was frightened by their number, so he consulted the Witch of Endor. When the witch was able to raise the spirit of Samuel from the dead, she seemed shocked herself. The spirit of Samuel spoke to Saul and told him "Tomorrow you and your sons will be with me" 1 Samuel 28:1ff. It is clear through the words of the Bible that there was a such thing as witches (actually a necromancer). 1 Samuel 15:23 states that "rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king." This was Samuel speaking to Saul before Saul banned witchcraft.
We often state that the Old Testament is of a time so far removed until it cannot be used in the 21st Century in the same way. Let's look at how witchcraft was viewed in the New Testament and see if it can be applied to life today. In Galatians 5:16-21. a section of the chapter begins speaking about life by the Spirit. The people are told to live by the Spirit. Then a list follows telling the reader the acts of a sinful nature which are obvious: "sexual immorality (adultery), impurity and debauchery (fornication), idolatry and witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God."
In Hebrew the word sorcerer, from the Old Testament, is Kashaph, meaning to alter or change the very essence of a plant, animal, or human. In Greek, in the New Testament, the word for witchcraft is pharmakeia to alter or change the root of something. The modern translation of witchcraft as involving assistance from Satan is inconsistent with Scripture.

What does this word "witchcraft" really mean in Galatians? It is defined as pharmakeia from medication (pharmacy), which was believed to be magic or sorcery. It signified the use of medicine, drugs, spells; then poisoning, then witchcraft as in Galatians and Revelation 9:21 and 18:23. In sorcery the use of drugs whether simple or potent, was generally accompanied by incantations and appeals to occult powers, with the provision of various charms, amulets, etc., profusely designed to keep the applicant or patient from the attention and power of devils.

But as with anything man does, witches/sorcerers started to use their knowledge to impress the applicant with the mysterious resources and powers of the sorcerer (themselves). So, in essence the New Testament believed that witchcraft was used more or less for the sorcerer to be seen or held in high esteem by those seeking them out. The person using medicines began to say "I can help you with MY powers" which of course was contrary to the fact that it is to God we look to for help. So, now you have the core of the reason for witches and sorcerers to not have favor with God's people. It was not because they could cure people, see into the future, or talk to the dead, it was because of corruption of their powers. The greatest Commandment is thou shall have no other god BEFORE me. The command does not say not to have any other god. The command could have easily said have no other god but me, period, but it doesn't. The problem comes when you place someone or something above God. Shocking huh?
Today, many people are turning to the 'religion' of Wiccan. It is one of the fastest growing religions of the 21st century. We must ask ourselves why someone would seek such a religion with a stigma? We are quick to say because they are 'evil' but many people will tell you that they are looking for a religion of peace, harmony and love. We must ask ourselves is this the face of Christianity today (peace, harmony, love)? The Scripture tells the Christian to live a life and carry themselves in such a way people will be drawn to Christ by their example. People should say "I want what they have" because you example something desirable. You are happy, loving, peaceful, positive, honorable, humble, caring, truthful, emotionally stable, helpful, and all the other characteristics that draw people towards you not away from you and this will give God the glory.

Demanding ignorance and burning books is not how Christianity will survive. Being dedicated to actively know and live the religion will ensure its survival for generations to come. God says his word draws people. We should live as the living word to draw people to Christ.

The Heart Of Man

My book is ready for purchase just in time for those going to the polls to cast their vote for president in fear in 2024. It is all but a sure bet, President Biden will be facing off against former president Donald Trump. This will be an IMPORTANT election with major SIGNIFICANCE. No matter who wins, our heart condition is going to matter.

For both candidates, age is a factor. People are voicing their dissatifaction having to choose between elderly White man number one and elderly White man number two. The mental capacity of both candidates is in question. Each have rambled on camera, desparately trying to recapture their train of thought.

The daily news no longer reports on what is being done for our country. Each day, news reporters announce what kind of investigation is being filed against which elected official, spending countless hours providing evidence of the accused guilt or innocence. Our govenment is no longer a ruling body, but a soap opera with America tuning in to root for a villan or hero.

As I stated earlier, there is an element of FEAR surrounding THIS election cycle. Fear - the man elected as president will die in office. Fear - the man elected will abuse his power. Fear - the man elected won't listen to the voter's needs. Fear - the office will be used to take vengence on the opposing party. Fear - no one will ever trust our free election process again. Fear - America will lose its standing as a super power. Fear - the cycle of self first over country will never end.

No one stops to evaluate what toll anxiety/fear plays on our bodies. The constant drumbeat of our way of life can be lost if we vote for the wrong presidential candidate. Studies have shown ndividuals with high levels of anxiety are at increased risk of coronary heart disease, congestive heart failure, stroke, fatal ventricular arrhythmias, and sudden cardiac death. Politicians want you to be fearful.

Anxiety/fear can cause the hippocampus to shrink. The hippocampus is an area of the brain that plays a major role in learning and memory. It’s one of the most affected areas of the brain in individuals experiencing anxiety. The hippocampus connects to the amygdala, and together they control emotional memory recalling and regulation. Damage to the hippocampus can make it difficult for a person to remember things and form new memories. Politicians want you fearful.

Just as stress affects our ability to make new decisions, stress also affects brain chemistry, making it difficult to assess benefits and costs. This can lead to poor decision making where the risks are as great as the rewards. Politicians want you anxious, fearful, and stressed.

What are the fearful masses of onlookers, potential voters, supposed to think? Well, that is just it. They are supposed to THINK in general. The cherry on top of fear, is RELIGION.  In a major election, there always seem to be a tug of war over God. Each side believes God belongs to them alone and the other should be rejected as evil. Social media has an uptick of "the end of the world" posts and to get right with Jesus. Evangelicals are calling Trump a savior and an equal amount of Christians are declaring him the antichrist. Who do we trust and where do we go for comfort and sanity?

Our trust and faith should not be tied up in those calling themselves our leaders. They will always fail. Our trust and faith belong to God/Creator and rational thinking. In His word, the Bible, God has told us no one is in a position of power or leadership unless He ordains it. We may ask ourselves - surely when Hitler was in power, God did not ordain that? Well, when Moses went up against the Pharoah of Egypt God said that Pharaoh was put in that particular place of power for God's own particular reason, and He knew that Pharoah would harden his heart against the people he enslaved.

The one thing Trump's first presidency showed the world was the heart of man. As the leader, hatred, racism, prejudice, corruption, and bullying ran rampent during his administration. We are still feeling the reprecussions. Even though Donald Trump has been proven for years to be a criminal in several arenas, the people still hold him in high esteem, or up high on their own debased hearts and minds.
Why would God have such a man, as Pharoah, over His choosen people? Without that particular Pharoah we would not have had a chance to read about God's miracle after miracle after miracle of saving the Israelites from bondage. Even though it may not seem like it, God is in control at all times over all nations. It is the behavior of his followers that is more important than the corrupt leaders. God has always been concerned with the HEART condition of man. The 21st century has dealt us some serious blows. The people are enraged at the government and the Christian leaders are concerned with their own political agendas. What are the Christians and masses to do?

Also in the Bible there is a man named Judas, who in his attemt to ensure right was done, did the unthinkable. Judas wanted to revolt against corrupt government rulers, to fight them with the same measure. Even if he was on the right side, his behavior was the same as those he viewed as evil; violent and divisive. Judas lost sight of his heart condition.

My book, "The Politics of Prayer" examines the importance of prayer and wisdom when turmoil abounds. There is nothing new under the sun and history is filled with corrupt leaders and revolutions by the oppressed. My book has qoutes by presidents and influential leaders during times when chaos reigned in government. Examples such as during the Cival War each side, North and South, prayed diligently for victory. Each claimed God was on their side. My book reminds the reader to make sure to take care of their heart condition no matter who is in political power. I have collected Bible verses which instruct the reader how true change is accomplished when it comes to politics and how they are supposed to carry themselves when corruption runs rampant.

Many people, including Christians are wondering, "How can I survive this harsh economic time and leadership I do not agree with?" The answer for all of our troubles has been to rest and trust in God. All things fade away, but God and His word are everlasting.  Blind loyalty does not belong to a Republican or Democrat, in the end they are all flawed humans. There has to be a higher standard worthy of your trust.     For a perspective on how to live today as an example of Christianity when all others are trying to solve problems through their own devices, read my book. It will renew your mind and spirit as you walk daily with the Lord. At the end of each chapter is a prayer for you to pray as we deal with the circus of our political leaders. And, after reading the book, don't forget to vote.

Men or Women Lie the Most?

The going joke this time of year is that he starts a fight with you to break up, so he doesn't have to buy you a Valentine's Day gift (ditto for Christmas). The only thing funny about this joke is NOTHING because it may be true.

This wonderful time of year filled with love, whether faked love, love out of convenience, or the real deal made me wonder, "Who lies more in relationships, men or women?"

Seems like there would be an easy answer to this question. Men say women lie the most with venom dripping from their lips as they answer the question. Women say men lie the most with a role of their eyes and acceptance of it as a fact to live with and become use to. But the truth is - we all lie so much it's hard to declare a true winner. The difference is - What men and women lie about the most.

There are 3 types of lies. THE BLACK LIE benefits the liar at a cost for another person (why it's called BLACK I have a problem with). THE ALTRUISTIC LIE benefits another person at a cost for the liar. THE PARETO WHITE LIE benefits both the liar and another person. The three types of lies were found in a study of 8.728 people in a meta-analysis where males were significantly more likely to tell black lies than females told altruistic lies (Gender Differences in Lying, www.journal.sjdm.org/18/18619a/jdml18619a.html).

Research in psychology has revealed the existence of a significant gender effect in lying behavior, depending on context and type of lie. It has been shown men's lies are more self (selfish) oriented while women's lies are more other oriented.

Psychology Today says self-serving lies are lies people tell to make themselves look better or to spare themselves from embarrassment, punishment, blame, or from getting their feelings hurt. Men tell more of these lies than women. Kind-hearted lies are lies told with the intent of making another person look better, feel better, to spare from embarrassment, punishment, blame, or getting their feelings hurt. Women tell more of these according to Bella DePaulo Ph.D.

For a woman, telling a partner how she feels about his family is the number one lie and second is telling her partner how she feels about his sexual technique.

Men rank higher in how often they lie, and they consider themselves better liars than women according to researchers at the University of Portsmouth. Expert liars, according to Dr. Brianna Verigin, prefer to lie face-to-face rather than by text or e-mail. The better a person think they are at lying the more lies they tell.

People lie to appear important, to be the center of attention, or because they seek sympathy or acceptance according to a 2020 study. Pathological lying is a mental disorder, and they live in a fantasy world and generally have low self-esteem. Prolific liars tend to be young, male, and have higher occupational status. Most studies found no gender difference in frequency of lying.

The best study I found studying who lies more in relationships was done in the UK: men lie more than their partners, 1 in 10 claim to do it regularly. A quarter of the population don't completely trust their current partner.

According to a scientific study, there is one way to tell if your woman is cheating on you: if your female partner is faking orgasms, it is highly likely she is faking other aspects of your relationship too, including the part where she is faithful.

Sign of lying include: avoiding eye contact, being vague or offering few details, body language like saying "no" but nodding the head "yes", fidgeting, rigidity, rubbing brow, playing with hair (oddly this is also the signal a woman is interested in you), slouching, defensiveness, evasive answers, perspiring on the brow, placing a barrier such as a chair/desk in front of self, saying "no" several times, smugness, stalling the conversation, unusual calmness, unusual voice fluctuation, and unwillingness to touch spouse/partner during the conversation.

The sad truth is we are lying human beings and we do it often. It's all about the lies we are willing to accept or overlook in our relationships. No one likes to be lied to, but sometimes lies will do until we are ready to face the truth.

The truth is Valentine's Day reveals if you are that special someone or if he is just not that into you. A breakup during Valentine's season is truly a crushing thing but taking him back after Valentine's Day is over tells more about the woman than the man. I do believe it is not fair to have a set aside day forcing a man to demonstrate his love monetarily. He should be demonstrating it every day in the relationship and that may not be through how much or how he spends money on a woman. He should be making you feel special at all times so all of your hopes and dreams of him loving you won't be expected on just one day leading to disappointment.

Men, on the other hand, get over on Valentine's Day. All it takes is a balloon and a few roses to any woman to convince her she is the one when she is only one of many or the new set up. Valentine's Day is the player of the year most active day. It's his Olympic gold medal day. He can say I love you without even saying it with a teddy bear or a box of candy. On thirsty Valentine's Day, women wait and wait for their present, a declaration of love when upon rising that day she already knows the status of her relationship in her heart. So, there is a chance he is lying to you, or you are lying to yourself. What's the difference with so much lying going on throughout the year?

Those of you with the real deal called love, congratulations. Long live love. It does exist and it is a beautiful thing. Those who do not have anyone at this time of year, never give up. Who knows, you may end up with love that shows up for more than one day of the year.
